11-17-03. PRAISE REPORT from Cheri Markham-Couter and Bro. John Wanjar (Missionary from Africa). Pastor John asked me to forward this on to everyone who was concerned with helping him have his sight restored. As you can see by his happy words, the networking worked! God was gracious and answered our prayers with a resounding, "Yes," thanks to the concern, generosity, and skill of Dr. Paul Froula. And I will take this final opportunity to add my own heart-felt thanks to you all, as well. It was a real blessing to witness this story. 11-17-03. This is just to let you know how thankful I am to all of you for your efforts and coperation to save my sight.It is just amazing that having not seen or known me you were all touched and worked hard to see thick cataract removed from my eye.Several doctors in our country Kenya had diagonised it some giving me some eye drops promising it would heal but the situation worsened.The rest saind I should wait after six months for the cataract to mature so that they remove it and at the saind time I came over to the States.I am quite sure even if I was at home I could not have afforded to pay for it.Still Am not sure if they would not have told me to go back someother time resulting to total loss of my eyesight. The cataract was first diagonised 3 years ago and since then all the attention I got was just as I stated above.This resulted to me seiing just shandow like images with my right eye.I had reached a point where I was almost giving up with my eye sight untill I met Cheri, who took the burden and shared with you.You all worked hard and prayed untill at last Dr.Froula was reached and offered to remove the cataract.Praise God I can see again with my eye. Dr. Froula and all the staff of the TENNESEE EYE CENTER were so friendly to me.We really liked each other and Iam really thankful to him. I don't really have enough words to thak you.You will all be remembered in my heart.You really showed Christ like heart of caring for the needy.There are many who donated to my ministry before,but all of you have done more that that.Little did I know that God was working to bring such people like you on my way.When I came over I thought I was just going to get support for my minisrtry but God had better plans.I came here[mono{single}eyed] but I go home with two eyes working -BWANA ASIFIWE-swahili for"praise be to God" With this I say thankyou all for you efforts, prayers and time and coperation.Special thanks to Dr. FROULA who did the sugery, Nancy who works with DR.Froula,all the staff of TNC, Cheri who I first contacted and through who all of you came to know me,Mary Singleton who I think contacted DR. 10-10-03. Thank you for your prayers for my sister-in-law Shirley Garig. My brother called this morning to tell me how amazed they are by her fast recovery. She no longer uses her walker or cane. She measures 106 degrees on her bend (of knee). Shirley left the hospital and physical therapy (administered by her daughter Barbie) much sooner than most. God placed in Shirley a strong desire to "remain busy", which has been an asset to her recovery. Most of all, has been our Lord and your prayers. Thanks again, Gwen.

Praise Report: 10-14-02. Today Cindy gave me a great praise report in answer to prayer for her brother Tim. All of his physical injuries are healing rapidly and the emotional scars are gradually fading. The most exciting news is that Cindy said, Tim was baptized last Sunday. Praise God. The devil never gets one up on our Lord. God will outdo him every time. Thank you Lord, for letting us see Your Mighty Works. And our prayers continue for the other family. Only God knows what healing is taking place there. But we can count on it, that God does KNOW and He is no respector of persons. Thank You Lord, for loving us all.

Praise Report from Shirley Carvell Green 10-09-02
Hi There,
The doctor said that he didn't want to change a thing that Bob was doing. He didn't know what he was doing but wanted to know everything about it. We tried to tell him the last time, but he was having a bad day and was ugly to us. This time he was so different and all smiles after he saw the new cat scan. Of course GOD is the number one thing and he has sent us MGN3 and CORAL CALCIUM. I'll have to tell you how GOD worked all through this sometime. The doctor said not to come back for EIGHT weeks and they will do another scan and see what has happened in that time. All the way to Houston, I was ready to settle for second best. I have been wearing my necklace with my mustard seed and the scripture and telling the mountain that it would be moved in GOD'S name, but I was weak and was going tosettle for the treatment which would be chemo and we just needed to decide whether to have it done in Bmt. or Houston.... I should have waited for GOD to move the mountain but I guess he knows how I am. He gave us first choice instead of second...keep praying that the next scan will really give the doctor something to SEE. GOD BLESS YOU, Shirley.
