FINANCIAL SPREAD SHEETS
This is just an example
of a spread sheet that helps us keep our records and total expenses for goals we desire to achieve. I would highly suggest
using a pencil with an eraser. If you have a five year plan, then you need to make 5 different spread sheets. The
picture above is only what a spread sheet looks like. It is not a good planning sheet.
These are just the records ‘after the fact’…not what
we plan to do.
HOW DOES THIS RELATE TO
A
SPIRITUAL PLAN
OR
SPIRITUAL SPREAD SHEET?
When you have a vision
or dream, the next step is “How do you get there?” If there is a certain desire in your life to touch someone
else’s life through prayer or to give them wise advice…how do you know how to do this?
Take one situation in your life. Perhaps a friend who is unsaved
or suffering from attacks from Satan and you want to know how to pray for them, encourage them, lead them in Truth.
What I learned from the natural spread sheet, is that there may be empty
spaces on your spread sheet that you do not have the answer to yet.
You may fill in what seems right. But then, when you receive more knowledge about the issue, you erase what was there and
add the more accurate information. This is a constantly growing and developing process.
OUR GREATEST ASSETS
The Word of God
And
The Holy Spirit
Our greatest liability
is leaning to our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5) without the wisdom of God’s Word and the Revelation of knowledge from
the Holy Spirit. With these two assets, we continue to find PEACE as a guide to the answer we are seeking that day. It
may change the following day. Each situation may be different.
Through the guidance of our dear Holy Spirit, we too ask questions …wondering
if there is a better, more productive, wiser, more efficient way to do things. We double check our figures, update them
as necessary and remain prepared for the fluctuation of the market (mood swings, etc.).
As our hearts desire Perfection in all we do or say, we seek the MASTER
of PERFECTION, our Lord – through His Word and the Guidance of our Teacher (Holy Spirit). We may sense the Holy Spirit
looking over our shoulder, observing our spread sheet, and making suggestions like, “Well, have you considered this?”
So we sincerely consider “options” He may bring to our minds. And
recognize TRUTH to our spirits that fit a question mark that may have been in a blank space on the grid of our spread sheet.
SOME DAY
One day, EVERY – BLANK
- SPACE on our Spiritual Spread Sheet will be filled in with the Perfect Answers. Praise God! Jesus
is the ANSWER…and has the answer for every situation in our life. Until then, we continue to shuffle, add, erase,
until we know that we know that we know…that we have the right answer for the right space.
Proverbs 25:2
“It is the Glory
of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings (you are a king) is to search out a matter.”
It’s in our constant searching that we always find more of Him. Thus,
we grow more into His likeness whether we realize it or not. He does! Praise God!
