CASH-FLOW GLORY-FLOW
Matthew 25:14-30
The BIG PICTURE is made up of many small parts. We say we want to give to the Lord a STEADY FLOW of finances. Instead of praying each month, trying to decide where our giving is to go…as we scatter our gifts, wouldn’t it be nice to actually SEE that CASH FLOW grow…and know that it is planted in the soil of God’s choice? Rich, fertile soil, that brings increase.
That is my desire, to be a wise servant…to make wise investments, led by His Spirit and carried out by my flesh.
Matthew 25:19 says, “After a long time [notice He gave them plenty of time to get things in order], the Lord of those servants cometh and reckoneth with them.”
What do you think He was asking? As their Lord, I believe he was asking if they had done what He told them to do. What had they done with their Lord’s MONEY. Verse 18 says “MONEY”.
As Keith Moore says, “Don’t make the Bible say what it isn’t saying.”
It says “money” $$$ here.
So, when the Lord comes to us and asks us what we have done with His “money”…are we going to stutter and say, “Uh ah, Lord, I’m not sure. I gave a little here and a little there…but I can’t tell you exactly where it went.”
If you’re getting the picture…this has nothing to do with pride, self seeking, or boasting. It has to do with wisdom and obedience.
When God shows us HOW to multiply the talents He has given us, money is probably the most tangible talent…that is proof of our obedience. It allows us to SEE that we have obeyed and pleased our Lord. The devil can not deny what is written down in black and white.
It is proof to ourselves…that when our Lord comes to reckon with us about what we did with the talents (finances) He gave us, we look forward with assurance to hear Him say:
“Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” (Matthew 24:23)

Father, I pray and believe that you will show each of us how to increase the Cash Flow Column in our budgets as we consider our Assets and Liabilities.
Cash Flow in and Cash Flow out. That we will SEE Your column consistently Flow IN to us and Out to Your Service…with wisdom and constant increase. That we know the state of our affairs and are truly
