THE GAME
Whew!
We did it! We ‘Played the Game’
 
Didn’t I tell you I was like a slow tortoise willing to stick her neck out?
Well, I did last night…and boy did I feel like Alice in Wonderland. My inspiration came as I watched two younger women – Laurie and Sugar speed past us like flying jets…. Praise God for my dear side-kick Linda who was kind enough to pretend she didn’t know any more than I did.
Slow to catch on…yep. But I haven’t lost the vision of the big picture. We are going to get out of debt and learn how to be Financially Free to do all our Heavenly Father desires us to do.
SO, WHAT IS THE SPIRITUAL LESSON HERE?
As I analyzed the overall scene, both spiritual and flesh (physical) that had taken place in my home, I was aware of a spiritual attack that had come against me. Surely our enemy…Mr. Lack (Satan) does not want this movement to be carried out. But, when we Christians bump our heads, we certainly know Who to go talk to and find out how these “bumps” can be turned into knowledge and ASSETS.
I won’t try to explain the attack I received but will give you one of the answers. It came in a round about way…but very clear to me.
MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS
This is not as harsh a statement as it sounds. Many of us have the tendency to help others so much that we do not take care of our own business. We are commanded to love each other, and pray for one another, and our hearts are more than willing to comfort and encourage each other as the need arises. But since our lives, needs, and investments are so very different…each of us must not allow ourselves to become overwhelmed or spread ourselves too thin, by becoming too involved in each other’s business.
LOW – MAINTENANCE
I am looking for a small house to buy as rent property so that I can use the rent as cash flow to pay off the house. One of the things I am looking for is a house that will have “low-maintenance” so that it doesn’t become a LIABILITY…rather, remains an ASSET.
A very wise woman once said, “I have only low-maintenance friends.” Now, for sure, I know what she means. She is one of the kindest people I know…and the people God places in her path receive her highest quality of attention. Her ASSETS are not so scattered that they become LIABILITIES.
So, it is with us in the natural. We move out slowly…yep, like the tortoise…stick our necks out…but only LOOKING. We learn from those around us, are inspired by them, but don’t jump off any logs into the water,
until we have the information we need to make a wise choice.
GOD IS MOVING FAST
Just Look Around You
 
Whether a tortoise or a hare, if your spiritual eyes are open and you are seeing what is going on in the Christian world, I believe you will see that
this inspiration did not come to me only, but many are seeing it who have no connection to me other than by His Spirit.
I do not let other people buy houses for me or accept their words about something if I do not have the witness of the Holy Spirit inside of me to confirm or disallow a truth. I did not realize that so many others were seeing what I was beginning to see…our need to become Financially Literate and Independent. God knows the reason. It will continue to unfold to us as we remain obedient to do what He guides us to do.
KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN

UPS
As I was writing this Spirit and Flesh message, the UPS man drove up and left a package on my steps from my son G.F., pastor of Power House Christian Center in Katy, Texas.
It contains 3 CDs of sermons he preached entitled “Knowing God”. and a book entitled “Debt You’re Fired – Wealth You’re Hired” by Greg E. Petsch.
I share this only as a confirmation that our dear Holy Spirit can speak His directions to many of us all over the world without us even knowing we are receiving the same message…until we happen to be talking to each other. He will tell us personally of His plans if we have Ears to Hear.
After I received the message, I knew our Father had directed the same to my son when he said the action for his church this year is:
3 “Fs”.

It is my plan to keep it as simple as possible. For me, that means I will stick to this vehicle (teacher) Kiyosaki teachings, of course along with Biblical direction, and not try to read other authors at this time. Everyone has their own opinion and methods. Too many opinions confuse me. Yes, I will be aware of what other writers may be saying, but I will not invest my time in them. In a sense they are only DO DADS for me.
Younger people seem to have the ability to take in much more than I do without getting side-tracked. It’s your business…your choice. I do sincerely hope though, that each of you have or will read the two books I
suggested because I believe they are the vehicle God sent to help this small
team that He seems to have brought together.
If you have read the text book…Rich Dad – Poor Dad, you know by now what a Do Dad is. Ha.
