Dear Ones,
I asked our Lord HOW to increase the talents ($$$$) he has given me and He answered abundantly. What I sought was WISDOM. He said ask for wisdom and He will supply it abundantly.
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” (James l:5).
“How” He does this may surprise us. But when we know Him, we recognize His Hand in what is going on in our lives.
SPIRIT AND FLESH = $$$
(At least for me at this time.)
ARE YOU “ON BOARD”?
Oh dear ones, letting go of the past and moving on to the future…always looking for our Lord’s return. Will He find us obedient to His Gentle Voice? “This is the way…walk here.” ♫Though none go with me, still I must follow.”♫
OWE YOU AN EXPLANATION
As many of you know me well by now, I think the words above can tell you what I plan to share. But, it seems such a sharp curve in the road that I want you to understand why I am taking this turn at this time. You have been faithful to eat the Fresh Bread I have sent and I don’t want you to think that I am moving one step away from our Lord. Only closer in a different way.
If you are interested in why I have come to this new information and how I desire to process it and pass it on, you have the choice to continue reading. The following articles will be shorter and possibly not as often, but this will convince you (I hope) that I have no other motive than to see you blessed.
RAMBLE: If you don’t choose to ‘ramble with me” through the rest of this article, I won’t be offended. I must share it to satisfy myself that I have been upfront with you in sharing to the best of my ability.
SPIRIT AND FLESH
Mario, Regina, and I stood in the kitchen of their tiny house where they were caretakers of the small local park. The rodeo grounds were on one side of their house and the Sabinal river on the other.
We were sharing what our Lord was doing in our lives and, of course, always asking questions. Always seeking to know Him better. The presence of the Lord was strong about us. This word came to us over thirty years ago.
Then Regina shared a word our Lord had given her. He said, “The Spirit and the Flesh shall become one.”
Like innocent children, we had no idea what that meant. Regina didn’t know. She asked our pastor Randy Needham if he knew. He didn’t know either. All he could tell her was, “Some day you will find out.”
We all recognize the obvious, that God is a Spirit and that He came in the form of Jesus (flesh) to walk among men. Praise God! That is one example.
Then, we’ve been taught that we must ‘walk in the Spirit’ so that we do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Yet, we miss the word “lusts” and have centered in on the word “flesh”.
STUMBLING BLOCK
If the word “flesh” is a stumbling block to those who have learned how to walk more in the Spirit than the flesh…I think a good definition for us would be “natural”. “The Spirit and the Natural will become one.”
However, I will not change the word given, “The Spirit and the Flesh shall become one.”
THE HIGHER CALL
We all learn to walk in the natural before we learn to walk in the Spirit. But once we do learn to ‘walk in the Spirit’, we lose our desire for the things of earth (natural-flesh). The higher call is always the things of the Spirit and we must re-enforce this daily or we will lose our way.
IN THE SPIRIT
In the Spirit we’ve learned how to fellowship with Jesus…to walk and talk with Him. We read His Word daily to stir up our spirits and we learn to hear Him speak to our hearts: so often saying, “This is the way - walk here.”
“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This [is] the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” (Isaiah 30:21).
It is our desire to know His will in every area of our life. We know His Basic Will that applies to all of us. But to know His Individual will for our daily walk…we must be able to hear from Him as He directs even our flesh to follow His plans for us.
Oh, that our all…spirit, soul, and body (flesh) be bound to Him in Love.
THINK ABOUT IT
My personal desire as I write to you is that the things I say will stir you to think for yourself; to inspect, question, and search out the TRUTH as God’s Word (whether written or in your spirit) either confirms what I am saying or leads you in another direction as our Lord wills for your life.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT
When the Lord changes us, certainly with our permission, and He changes a course of direction in our life – we must accept His Plan and His choice no matter what we are use to. When He says He is “doing a NEW thing in our life…all we know to do is TRUST Him and allow Him to lead us step by step, day to day. “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, [and] rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:19)
When God gave me that word of revelation “Financial Illiterate”, I understood and desired to follow His path into a greater understanding of finances.
One day I was doodling and drew an “S”. Then I wrote a “F” over the “S”. I was amazed to see it come out looking very much like a dollar sign. “Oh my”, I thought. ‘Spirit and Flesh’. Awesome!”
I have no idea how you will use these lessons that are coming through me at this time. I’m not even certain of all the ways God intends to use them but I TRUST HIM!
I just feel that I will have the FREEDOM (financial freedom) to share with you the connections I am seeing between Spirit and Flesh in finances and possibly other ways.
In case you are afraid of money and don’t see its connection to our spiritual man, I desire to PREPARE you for this change in my messages.
For every natural thing there is a spiritual counterpart. So, be prepared for a new language – vocabulary – as I press on to carry out what I believe our Lord is giving me to share.
NOT MY DESIRE
It is not my desire to promote any man or plan or process to lead you to Financial Freedom in the flesh. If it’s your desire to hear only the spiritual side and apply it to your spiritual walk, that’s your choice. You must remain true to God and yourself.
MY EXPERIENCES
I plan to share my experiences with you only as a means to encourage you and sharpen your insight into your own world.
VEHICLE
However, God has given me a vehicle to teach me in the flesh (natural). I’m always willing to share if anyone wants to know about it.
Perhaps you are already EXTREMELY FINANCIALLY LITERATE. If so, Praise God! I’m so glad you are in my circle of friends because there are things you can teach me…as parts of the Body of Christ.

Whatever I have said today, I pray that I have made it clear to you that you always have a choice. And in this choice, your number one Safety Net is hearing from God and your own heart.
We will be discussing the “Spirit and Flesh” in the days to come. I could not make this change without letting my friends know where we are headed…rather, where I am headed. Friends are free to follow.
REGINA
Regina spoke many things into my life as God used her to prophecy over me. She also spoke of the OPEN DOORS that no man would be able to close. This, I sense, is one. “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” (Revelation 3:8).
Then she sang the song from (Acts 3:6). “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee:” I give you what I have, believing you will also receive the silver and gold. All things are given by God. I desire to see you blessed both in the SPIRIT and in the FLESH.
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” (3 John 1:2).
