MANY LITTLE
BOATS
(On
God’s Sea of Life)
All
over the world, God’s children are stepping out of their little boats and walking on God’s
Crystal Clear Sea of Life.
The
first step is the most exciting.
All
around us we see many little boats. Those clinging to their boats or sitting complacently, begin
to have their eyes opened as they see one by one, others leaving their boats and literally walking
on the water of Faith.
Those
getting out of their boats see Jesus. He is calling them to come away from the natural world and
walk with Him in His supernatural provision.
The
steppers and walkers on the water have been given a dream so BIG that they know only God can make it
come to pass. Their hunger now has grown so strong that the things of earth are no longer significant
or necessary. Their love for Jesus and His Walk of Faith so entices them that they can hold back
no longer.
They
are tired of sitting in their boats and doing their own rowing. Nothing ever changes. They
just row and row, and don’t seem to be going anywhere.
I
see two people getting out of their boat. Perhaps a couple. No fear: just total excitement
as they follow the Master’s Voice; cherishing the possibilities of walking only with Him. They
see Him as their TOTAL SUFFICIENCY. No need for any other life jacket or boat. They are walking
FREE now on the CrystalSea to Jesus.
Others
in their little boats are watching. The two who stepped out have let their boats go and don’t
look back.
One-by-one,
others in their own boats become excited by what the are seeing. They want this FREEDOM, too. They
begin to see the vision for themselves…and soon many little boats are left empty and floating
around without God’s children clinging to them. I see them all walking to Jesus because
the first two got tired of rowing on their own and chose to STEP OUT and walk to Jesus.

OUT ON THE WATER AND
WALK
WITH JESUS.
I
use to go fishing with my husband at LakeAmstrad near Del Rio, Texas. There were times the lake
was so still, the sun gently shining, that the lake looked like solid glass. I had a great desire
to get out of the boat and walk on the water. I could see how it must have looked to Peter and
Jesus that historical day.
Whether
we have BIG dreams or small daily ones, the first step out of our boats is the first step toward the
most exciting walk of our life. It’s that wonderful, FREE STEP of answering God’s
call on our life and stepping out with TOTAL Faith in Him. Faith that nothing is impossible with
Him and we can’t go wrong by answering His call of Love to bless us more than eyes have ever
seen.
“…as
it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the
things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” (I Corinthians 2:9).
Yes! Yes! Look
to Jesus. Don’t look back. Many are now seeing what you see…and they too, are
now stepping out of their small, useless boats…and running on the water behind you.
What
Joy! What a Thrill! What Delight! What expectancy of the plan (Jeremiah 29:11) that
He has for you.
I
see you reaching Jesus on the shore…which represents the solid steps you will be taking with
Him. You may not know what His next steps are…but it no longer matters. You know now,
that He is in control and you will follow Him one day at a time…wherever He goes. You are now really
connected with Him. His Way is now your Way.
The
first step is so exhilarating and may not seem real, but the following steps will bring substance to
your life and the dreams God has put in your heart will begin to take form. As “Faith is
the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for…the evidence of things not (before) seen.” (Hebrews
11:1)
God
gives you the Faith to step out and He will provide the SUBSTANCE that comes by experiences of TRUSTING
HIM!

up Higher as God
Continually sees
your
Faith
Rising!
