ALL BECAUSE OF
CALVARY

         Who are the happiest people you know? Those who accept what Christ did for us at Calvary or those who are still struggling to save themselves?
         Oh, the simplicity of the Cross. Of course it’s not the cross we worship but what it stands for. As I was led to pick up my church hymnal and the old songs spoke to me, I felt the anointing of these words delivered so long ago. Most of them were written in the 1800’s. Such simple, uncluttered faith came from their hearts. Simply…Trusting.
         In this day when much revelation is being poured out, I pray that God grant us the wisdom to cling to the Simplicity of the Message of the Cross.

                            ♫ALL my sins are gone,
                              All because of Calvary.
                              Life is filled with song,
                              All because of Calvary.
                              From sin He saved me,
                              New life He gave me;
                              All because of Calvary.♫

         “As far as the East is from the West, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12).
         “Who forgiveth ALL thine iniquities, who healeth all they diseases.
(Psalm 103:3).
         “I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto Me; for I have redeemed thee.” (Isaiah 44:22).
         “I have swept away your sins like the morning mists. I have scattered your offenses like the clouds. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free." (New Living Transition).
         Oh what JOY…what PEACE when we accept ALL that Jesus did for us at Calvary.
