ARE WE ACTING
LIKE
THE DEVIL?

         As children of God we are FREE from sin. It has no more dominion over us. (Romans 6:14).
         I hate even the word “SIN”. God hates sin, and Christ in us, hates sin. This is a natural consequence of being born again and becoming one with Christ. New blood…new genes…new Father.
         We are no longer children of the devil, as stated in 1 John 3:10.
         A true child of God is one who has repented of his/her sins and sincerely asked Jesus to be his/her Lord. That child will have no greater desire than to please his/her Father.
         The children of Satan, or those held captive by him, only desire to do the things they see their father Satan do.  Until they hear a better PLAN, they will remain captive. These are the ones Jesus came to seek and save out of the clutches of Satan.

             

         But God’s Seed remains in His children. (1 John 3:9). They have inherited His hate for SIN. When God’s children do wrong, someone may say, “Well, you are acting like the Devil.” And that is the last thing they want to hear and the last person they want to be like. He is not their father and they do not want to be like him.
         It deeply hurts a child of God when they think they have done wrong or displeased their Father. They immediately seek ways to correct what seems out of order with His will. (This is called growth.)
         God is Love. His children are Love. They inherited His Love and there is no way that either of them would intentionally hurt each other.
         “Draw close to Me and I will draw close to you.”, our Loving Heavenly Father says.

        

         “Why Lord, are You stressing this to me at this time?”, I asked.

         This is what I heard from the Lord:
l. Because My children don’t know whose they are.
         A. They don’t know the benefits of Salvation (Being in My Family.)
2. I am separating the sheep from the goats and I want My children to         KNOW where they stand.
3. ANOTHER REASON: I’m coming soon…and I remind you, that this is a weapon for spiritual warfare that will increase for a season. My people must have the Confidence of Whose they are.
         But mainly: They will be called on many times to Stand in My Righteousness which I have passed on the them. 

         Therefore: SIN remains an outside attack on the children of God and God’s Message of Salvation.   Whose seed are we?

         Then I said, “Lord, I don’t feel up to arguing this point with others who do not live by the S/word of the Spirit. What would you have me do?
         I felt Him smile as I began to hear the song: “Go Tell on the Mountains, Over the hills and every where. Go tell on the Mountains, that Jesus Christ is Lord.”
         “Someone will hear….”, He said
