IT’S TIME

TO CHOOSE

         “It’s TIME to choose sides.”, I heard the Lord say. “Even to take sides.”
         “Oh, Lord, You know how I’ve never wanted to do this. I’ve always wanted to love everyone and have them love me. But if YOU say it’s TIME
…then it’s TIME.”
         In my mind I saw a picture of Moses dividing the sea. People were either on one side or the other. There was a definite division; a clear cut line between them.  Many people were standing on the dry ground between the two walls of water. Others were choosing which wall to go to.  They were either for God or against Him.”
         Whose side are you on?
         There were no more battles between the two groups that had chosen. Each side had made up their mind who they would follow. The time of Debate was over. The time of sorrow was past. Duty called and required the action of decision.

VALLEY OF DECISION
         “Multitudes, multitudes, in the VALLEY OF DECISION.” 
(Joel 3:14).

         The path between the two walls of water was being cleared out as one person would make a choice and go to the left. Another would make his choice and go to the right. Those who remained in the valley between the two walls of water would drown.
         Those who went with the world (illustrated by the wall on the left) would continue fighting strong. Those who chose to stand for God…those who went to the right…would unite and find their places in His Army.
         The two armies would wage a strong battle. Those Undecided ones would be the casualties of the war because they didn’t know where to go or what to do.

           Joshua’s final exhortation before his death was: “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, (then) Choose You This Day whom you will serve; whether the gods which were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye (now) dwell: but as for me and my house…We Will Serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15).

THINK ABOUT IT

         It’s TIME to think about it. Are we still sitting somewhere between the two walls of water on dry land…trying to make our choice? Do we think we have plenty of TIME to make this choice of who we will serve? I don’t think so. I believe TIME, as we have known it, is running out. 

   

ARE WE RUNNING

BRIGHTNESS OF HIS
EVER INCREASING LIGHT?

ENCOURAGEMENT:

         Daniel, talking about the time of the end, says in Daniel 12:1, “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”
         Acts 2:19-21 telling about signs of the end times, shows the protection of Believers, those who have chosen Jesus. Verse 21 says: “And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” God’s first thought is still for His Body (His Bride-the church) and for those who are still lost. 
         God does not desire for anyone to remain in the middle of two choices; to be caught off-guard allowing the waves of destruction to destroy them. Not to choose Jesus is still a choice.  We will either chose the world’s way or be caught between the two walls of water when they come together. It will be too late then. NOW is the TIME to CHOOSE.
