DREAMS
The Outpouring of God’s Spirit

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.” (Joel 2:28).
         There are so many ways to pray and we continue to learn from our Teacher, the dear Holy Spirit. I understand now just how much our Heavenly Father does hear our prayers and shows us more than one way to pray. After this experience I understand in my spirit the Power of Prayers of Prevention.

The Dream

         I seldom have night time dreams, but one came to me recently. It was so strong, I knew it was of the Lord. It’s purpose was played out in the days to come.
         This was my second dream about my grandchildren almost drowning.
         The first dream was about Sky, my first born grandson. In the dream, he was a baby and he was drowning. I was responsible for him. No one would help me and they were all angry at me for not taking good care of him. In the years that followed this dream, I tried to keep the Word of God before his eyes and teach him about Maximized Manhood. (Lessons on God’s plan for true manhood…preached by Ed Cole, my sons G.F. and Brent, and others…but from the heart of God.) 
         Now, my dream was about Sky’s younger sister, Sarah-Marie.
         In the dream I was standing by a muddy pond. The two children had exchanged ages. Sky was now the younger and he was a heavy baby in my arms. Sarah-Marie appeared to be about four years old. She had jumped into the water and was drowning. I tried to reach her with my left hand while holding Sky close to me in my right arm. The bank was muddy. I felt I would slip and drop Sky in the water, too.
         I was in some type of Christian environment because I saw shadows of Christians walking around us at a distance. They could see us but when I desperately called for them to help, they ignored my cries.
         Sarah-Marie went down twice in the muddy water…then I woke up.
         Sarah-Marie was taking a trip to Disneyland soon after with a young friend and the friend’s parents. I knew I must pray for protection of her (spirit-soul-body). I couldn’t tell her family the dream because at this point I felt it would alarm them and bring fear to them. So I had to pray in their stead.
         When I shared the dream with my friend in Tennessee, I believe the Lord spoke through her as she said, “Pray for all the people who are at your river.” More than the usual number of people were enjoying the thrill of the rapids at my place at this time.
         The dream has lots of meanings to me personally, but an interesting thing happened soon after.

Prayers of Prevention

         Two couples and their young sons came to see me. They were members of the band that I am praying for: Faith Rising.  You can see their pictures on “Fresh Bread #38. 
         Without thinking that it could frighten Sugar for her own children’s safety, I began telling her the dream and asking her to pray for Sarah-Marie. It seemed unthoughtful on my part, but evidently not on the part of the Holy Spirit.
         Less than thirty minutes later we heard her son screaming from the river. I looked up and saw Sugar running barefoot across the rocks, down the hill towards her sons. A beautiful athlete, her hair flying loose as the clip left her hair just as her shoes were discarded in her flight to reach her sons. I saw her jump into the water.
         It was so like my dream being played over, but in real life this time. Sugar’s husband Mike was below the dam trying to keep one son afloat after his son’s inner tube had gone over the dam. Mike couldn’t reach his younger son who was still in the water above the dam.
         “How interesting that we can hear their cries from higher ground, but they cannot hear us because of the sound of the water below.” Hmmmm.
         God sent Sugar to the rescue. She is her husband’s help meet in so many ways. Another example of children needing two parents and of the wife supporting her husband as Sugar has learned to do so well in their family life.
         Sugar saw this dream as a Preventive Prayer. She sensed that because we had prayed ahead, that tragedy was prevented…and even said later that if she should lose her job, which would be no fault of hers, it would have meant nothing in comparison to losing her son.

More Confirmation

         As I was writing this “Fresh Bread” and Sarah-Marie was still on her trip to Disneyland, the phone rang. I was not surprised. It was Linda, my prayer warrior friend who had taken my dream and prayer request seriously for Sarah-Marie.
         She said, “Go read your e-mail. It’s about Sarah-Marie.”
         From time to time, Linda sends me prophetic revelations from a lady named Sandy Warner. This is what I read. I know it was for me and possibly for some of you. It’s always your decision. God reaches us in all kinds of ways…and when we feel peace in our heart: we receive. If not, then it must be for someone else. But this was definitely for me:

The demonic floods have risen in the lives of My people. These have broken through boundaries like a swelling river of mud. Some of My people have fled the demonic raging, some have become engulfed and carried away, and some have stood and taken the brunt of the onslaught. (prayer warriors) It is enough says the Lord.

Even now, I AM calling the remaining priests to take their rightful intercessory (prayers) place for the safety of their loved ones and STAND. I AM not calling you to aggression, I AM calling you to stand and believe  (praying in faith). In unity, (asking others to pray with you ) you shall stand in faith against these floods and see My mighty blast of wind (personal revelation) blow back these demonic floods.

In one massive unit across the great divide, I will bring My people safely to the other side. As My people walk through this great Jordan porthole Doors of time, I will reveal to them their heritage which has been covered by the floods. (We are the seed of Abraham and the Seed of God) This inheritance has not been fully known since the day of Adam.

So do not grow faint in your journeys, dear ones. I have promised you new beginnings. I will renew your hope and your calling. I will open your eyes to witness your God of miracles Who will roll back the floods on your behalf. Yield all to Me and I will bring you safely across to the other side.   Hallelujah!

So it was, when the people set out from their camp to cross over the Jordan, with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people, and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest), that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at the city Adam…
