PERFECT STRENGTH

               Why do I love Angel Food so much? Surely it’s because each day the Holy Spirit reveals a new recipe to share. It’s so full of revealed TRUTH that I can hardly wait to serve it.
               As Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:13, “I BELIEVED and therefore have I SPOKEN….”

GOD IS GOD! WE ARE HIS SEED!
(1 John 3:9)

               I am not God. There is only one God. God says in Isaiah 45:22, “Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God and there is none else.“
               This morning my Bible fell open to 2 Corinthians 12:9 and (1-10). I had never received the depth of understanding of this scripture like I did today.
               “And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
               Recently practicing speaking “Faith Words”, instead of words of doubt and fear…(devil words), I realized that this is as much a Faith Confession as all the others

               Experiencing several attacks of weakness lately, both physical and spiritual, and knowing that these do not come from God (by the study of His Word and His purposes for us), I didn’t understand this weakness.
               The beauty came when I realized my own weakness. Of course we can do nothing apart from God…but there are some things we think we can, so they don’t concern us. But there are certain thorns in our lives that show us just how much we need God. There are areas in our lives that even faith words cannot compare to the absolute POWER of God.
               God is so gracious when He reveals the TRUTH that His Grace is sufficient and, that when we are weak…we are actually not weak…but Strong. Why? Because His Strength is made PERFECT at these times of our weakness.

               So, when infirmities, reproaches, necessities, persecutions, distresses come into our lives, we can rejoice and confess with Confidence…”When I am weak, THEN am I STRONG. (verse 10). For at this special time, the POWER of Christ is RESTING upon me.” (verse 9b).
               He will never leave us nor forsake us. God has an answer for our every need. It is in His inspired, eternal Word.
               There are just some things that are too big for us to understand or conquer. Father God will have to do it for us. It’s okay at this time to say…to the enemy…”THE POWER OF GOD IS RESTING ON ME TODAY!”…because when I am weak…then I am stronger than at any other time.
               God’s ways are so much higher. Lift Jesus higher (above every circumstance) and you will see what I see.
               This may sound silly, but for my Greenie brothers and sisters, I just must share this. One of the cheers we had in high school was;

“When you’re up…you’re up.
When you’re down…you’re down.
When you’re up against a Greenie
You’re Up-Side-Down.”

               I can’t help but think how often God’s ways are so Up-Side-Down to what many people think until they get to know Him better. And of course, He certainly turns the devil Up-Side-Down each time His TRUTH is revealed to His children.
