BREATH OF LIFE
BREATH OF HOLY SPIRIT

“Lord, I am consistent,” I smiled. Then I said, “I am consistently inconsistent.” Why?
I felt His answer: “Because you know you are not your own and that My ways are higher than man’s ways. You chose to follow Me. I blessed you with My Holy Spirit to hear My instructions. Those who hear My voice will follow Me. Those who take time to hear will hear. It’s the Path of Peace.
“The things of earth are growing strangely dim for you aren’t they? [Yes, Lord.] Except for the natural beauty you see in My hill country and in the face of new Believers.”
Oh Father, help them all today. Protect them, guide them, let them hear your Voice and Yours only. I know You mark out a straight path for them today because I ask.
After a little more discussion, my mind wandered to the verse: This is the day the Lord hath made. I will (my choice) rejoice and be glad in it.” [1]
Hmmm. This is a new day, like each new day He creates. God is always creating. He set the world in motion so that it constantly creates one new day after the next.
Like winding a perpetual clock. But I like to think of my Father… literally creating each new day out of nothingness…completely by His will and Word.
What if, one day He didn’t get up and breathe out His Breath of Life into the world? Everything that has breath would stop. Breathe out from your own lips gently now and see how it feels to breathe the breath of life into your day. Knowing where your very breath comes from.
I began to see this as a new way to pray…as an additive to my prayer life. By faith in the authority that God has given us, I can Breathe the Breath of Life into those I pray for, as a Creative Spirit.
Well, thank goodness, I don’t have to be concerned about God not getting up each morning. His Word says that He never slumbers or sleeps. [2]

But we have to get up. And as He breathes His daily life into us…even before we have read His Word, His love has hovered over His creation during the night according to His plan for His beloveds to sleep. [3]

Morning by Morning, He awakens them. (Barbara Arbo use to quote this scripture and live by it. The world stretches…the animals go into their dens…man comes forth to work and walk in God’s light.
To all those who call on Him, God Breathes His blessings of faith, strength, wholeness, power, and wisdom. All that is essential for their work on earth.
His greatest desire is to walk with them through their day…to live His life through them. To discus past victories and reveal new truths from His Eternal Word.
Oh, His children are so in quisitive…but God likes that. He made us so. He delights in our questions because He has all the answers…and it’s by walking with Him and allowing Him to live in us, bit by bit, day by day…He reveals Himself more fully to us.
As the old childhood saying goes: “It’s for me to know and you to find out.” J It’s for God to know and for us to find out. As we search the scriptures we find life. His life in us. His Holy Spirit inspired Word abides in us. We become one with Him.
The things of earth are all examples of God’s love. Every thing we see and every experience we have, leads to more questions of how they relate to God and life with Him and in Him. So we seek Him for our answers. We hear. We obey. We grow more into His likeness. Our fellowship with Him becomes more bonded with each step we walk together.
The closer we are to Him, the more He breathes His desires into our hearts and soon we don’t know the difference between His and ours. We become one as Jesus prayed for us in John 17:21-23. [Look it up and read it if you don’t believe me. J]

BREATH OUT THE BREATH
OF
THE HOLY SPIRIT

“…He giveth to all life, and breath, and all things.”
(Acts 17:25b).

“Then said Jesus to them again, even so send I you. And when He had said this, HE BREATHED ON THEM, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.”                            (John 20:21-22).
Thank You Jesus for transmitting the Power of the Holy Spirit to us.
