OPEN DOORS
(That no man can close)
CLOSE DOORS
(That no man can open)
This is about a constant releasing of our will for God’s will.

“And the key of the house of David will I lay
upon his shoulder: so he shall open and none
shall shut: and he shall shut and none shall
open. And I will fasten him as a nail in a
                                 sure place….” (Isaiah 22:22-23a).

God said this about Eliakim, but He will say the same for us if we choose.
Years ago, my friend Regina spoke a prophetic word over me and I can still hear it. I didn’t understand it, but I received it as a word from the Lord.
She said: “I (the Lord) will open doors for you that no man can shut and I will close doors for you that no man can open.”
So, yesterday when I heard Joyce Meyer suggest that we pray this prayer, I had faith to believe it. “Lord, open doors for me that no man can shut and close the doors for me that no man can open.”
I recognized this as an extension of my committed prayer when I had purposely released my will for my life to God, truly desiring His will. By the Spirit, I knew God heard my prayer. He gave me Faith to believe that He heard and would do this.
It brought great peace and comfort to my soul and caused me to relate to the next verse where He said: “I will fasten him/her as a nail in a sure place.”
Praise God! No More Wavering! From now on, I can TRUST God to open and close doors for me. He has accepted this responsibility for me…because I asked.
From now on, when a door doesn’t open, I will receive that as God’s answer to this prayer. What am I in comparison to Him? Other than a little ant trying to push open huge doors in my life. God will do it and I won’t always be wondering “where to go and what to do.” (Galatians 5:16). I will be as stable as a nail fastened in a sure place. The open and closed doors will no longer be shadows, but doors of substance; obvious, beyond guessing.

The swinging doors in my life can now be avoided. As His Holy Spirit’s voice becomes more clear than ever, saying: “This is the way…walk here!” (Isaiah 30:21). I can stop running into the obviously closed doors.
I believe God will receive your request, as He has mine. If you ask Him, I know He will answer. (Jeremiah 33:3).
And those doors that have been closed for so long, God will open for you at His appointed time. Or, since you have left the choice with Him the doors HE opens for you at this time will be so fulfilling that the closed doors will lose their significance, attraction, curiosity, and power over you.
Let’s practice today, TRUSTING GOD to make our open and shut doors obvious and accept His Loving assistance…What Peace! What wonderful simplicity this brings to our lives today. May we never forget!

Let it be a Closed Issue in our lives, that from now on we will allow our Lord to Open or Close each door for us. Let it be an Open and Shut Case. J.

What do Open Doors look like, Lord? They look like “sunlight”. They breath “peace” into your spirit. They will not be half-open but wide open. Follow Peace.”
Remember: The door that is closed today may be open tomorrow. With faith and peaceful patience…let us wait for it.
“Close the doors, Father, that you don’t want us to go through…for now.” Thank You Lord!

We won’t try to kick them open or shut.

         We’ll try not to peep.

WE LEAVE OUR KEYS WITH YOU!
WE TRUST YOU
TO
ALWAYS DO WHAT IS BEST
FOR US
