YOUR WORDS ARE
ETERNAL
Don’t Let Satan Have
The Last Word

“Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.” (Psalms 141:3).

God has the last word, so can we. It may not be easy, but all things are possible and it can be a delightful challenge.
God says “He sends forth His Word and it does not return void, but accomplishes all it is sent forth to do.” I believe that.
When you read the end of the Book, you know that God has the last word. His SEED remains in us and we can do the same.
In Luke 10, Jesus tells us (His disciples) what we are to do. One of the things He says in verse 9 is: “…heal the sick” (in whatsoever city you are in.)
Hmmmm. Now that sounds like a biggy. How are we going to do that? There are many ways but each requires faith in God and His good Word.
There is one way we can begin practicing today. It can change all of our circumstances.
Psalms 107:20 says: “He sent His Word and healed them…and delivered them from their destructions.”
There are times I have allowed Satan to have the first and the LAST WORD in my life. When this happens I feel my life ebbing away. Weakness sets in and hope disappears, leaving my spirit, soul, and body resembling a limp dish rag.
Then as I meet with my Lord, He renews my mind by His Word and brings an exciting challenge into my day. He does it! Praise God! As I wait upon Him for my daily Angel Food. Life can be so dull and meaningless without a challenge. Not only does He present the challenge, but also the faith to accept it.
This morning I read another testimony of a couple who stood on God’s Word and saw the husband healed of cancer when the doctors had no medical cure. Carl Edgley had the faith already instilled in him through his grandmother. But this was the learning season for his loving wife Jackie.
“Lord, I pray that we will take this learning season for us, seriously. Then, when storms do come, we will be prepared.”
Jackie read something that I had read before but had forgotten. She read that scientists had discovered that sound waves never leave. With the right equipment they believe they could retrieve the voices of Ben Franklin, John Adams and the founding fathers who wrote the Declaration of Independence. The realization that her words would be around for eternity, made Jackie guard them carefully.
With renewed REVELATION of this message, I asked God to forgive me of every negative word I had spoken in my past…words of doubt and unbelief which are contrary to the good Words of God. I thanked God for a new day and for presenting me with a fresh challenge to practice having the FIRST and LAST words over the negative words Satan would tempt me to speak. They are all insults to God…and are meant to do us harm.

We all have studied in the Bible about the power of the tongue for evil. Now, let’s use it’s power for good.

“Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.”
(Romans 10:17).
So, let’s begin to speak God’s Word into the atmosphere so that millions of years from now, perhaps we will hear our own words of faith. In the meantime, we will experience abundant victories while here on earth.
Remember that Jesus said: “The thief cometh to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10).
An example of having the last word is this: Satan says, “You are getting weaker, you’re going to die soon. Your sins have found you out and now God is going to let you die.”
Well, we are going to CANCEL that last word by using God’s good words. We’ll say, “Oh no! The Lord is the strength of my life. I’m getting stronger every day. Jesus took all my sins and I shall live and not die and glorify my Lord. No weapon formed against me can prosper. I am the Seed of God, and God supplies all my needs.”

The last word spoken is the one that has the most POWER and remains as the TRUTH. We can cancel the sound waves from Satan each time we use God’s Word as our LAST WORD against Satan.
We can constantly overcome evil with good…by having the good LAST WORD.
What a delightful challenge this can be for us today. It is POSSIBLE! Satan says that it is “impossible”. But we say: ALL things are POSSIBLE to him who believes.
Let’s do it! Let’s take the challenge today by faith. Let’s practice putting the devil down constantly…until it becomes a habit and way of life for us. Let’s unite (using the same language of faith) and do this by having the Last Word…always.
I praise God for each new day which can be like a clean slate (sheet of paper) with a new challenge (and a package of faith to go along with the challenge) that with God, all things are POSSIBLE.
I hope you will make a list of the “last words” you plan to use against Satan. Like rocks in David’s sling shot, the devil sees your ammunition and is at a “loss for words”. You stump him every time…with the POWER of your Words.

God’s Word does not return void…neither will yours. Refuse to Let Satan have the Last Word. It’ yours…for Keeps!!!!

“Let the Words of my Mouth and the meditation Of my Heart be acceptable in Thy sight, Oh Lord,

My Strength and my Redeemer.” (Psalms 19:14).
