NO
RESPONSE

How many people have you written letters to, sent emails, or left messages on their answering machines…and have received No Response? Some emails even say, “Blocked Calls” or “Suspect List.”
“Ouch”, talk about “rejection” if we allow ourselves to take these little machines personal. With Jesus, we can certainly have the wisdom to “rise above” such trivia, but on a down day, Satan will make as much use of it as possible to push someone further down.
Well, we’ve learned to make excuses for many of these. Some, we don’t expect to hear from, but it’s such a pleasure when we do.
Some, we figure, have decided to ignore us, hoping we will go away. And in time, we probably will, unless God keeps them on our heart.
Some are family members we desire to be closer to but you don’t want to be a burden, so we resist telling them that we need to hear from them. Or others leave a blank space in our life because they no longer tell us of their personal needs or desires.
Can we relate this to God’s desire to hear from His friends and family? Since we are made in the image of God, He is so like us in His desires. We can appreciate His desires to remain close to His family.
Of course we aren’t God! And if all our friends and family contacted us in the natural as much as we think we want them to, we couldn’t handle it. So God portions out our meat for each season. What gluttons we can be. I’m so glad He is God and He is in Control of our lives.

But the awesomeness of God, is that He can receive a response from each of us at the same time and at any time we choose to respond. He abides in us and is always blessed by our responses.
Let’s answer His phone calls, emails, letters, smoke signals… whatever. Especially His quiet promptings in our hearts today. Let’s assure Him that we do love Him and will never forget Him. Let’s respond to God’s call to fellowship and walk with Him today…wherever He leads.
The more we open ourselves to Him; telling Him our needs and desires, the more He reveals Himself to us. We begin to know Him better and TRUST Him more.
So, may I encourage everyone to always “SEEK HIM FIRST”. Open His e-mails, love letters, return His calls First…before we do anyone else’s. Then the others will fall into their designated order. His order of Love and Wisdom.
Let Him be the First Person you say “Good Morning” to when you awake. “Good Morning Father. Good Morning Jesus. Good Morning Holy Spirit.”
Satan may greet you in the form of “the cares of this world” when you awake…but I encourage you to shove him aside. Keep him in the box. Push past his babblings, and speak to your Father first.
“Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7).
And never forget God’s Phone numberJeremiah 33:3 “Call unto Me, and I will answer thee…”
He’s always expecting our call. Call today and tell Him you Love Him. I promise you, He will RESPOND. J He has no “blocked calls” or “suspect list.” He loves us all…and is always so glad to hear from us.

LETS STAY CONNECTED TO GOD.
