DOES GOD
CONTRADICT
HIMSELF?

One
minute you read that God loves the world, and the next thing you read may be James 4:4 which says, “…friendship
of the world is enmity with God and whosoever will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
Or
you read 1 John 2:15b, “…If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
No. God
doesn’t contradict Himself. But one must read the whole Book to understand how He fits His
Word all together for the sake of His children and His sons.
Many
have studied the Bible and know what these verses mean, so they don’t trip over them . But
God has even higher blessings to give us as specific scriptures come to us, pertaining to current situations
in our lives.
Jesus
said in Matthew 22:37, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy
soul, and with all thy mind.”
So,
with our mind we read and study His Word. Then the supernatural begins to take over. The
more we read, the more TRUTH plants itself in our personal lives. Our souls, (who we are in the
natural) begin to hunger and thirst for more knowledge about God.
Through
our obedience of consistently reading and studying God’s Word…the Holy Spirit begins to
open our eyes to the things of the Spirit. God’s Word becomes alive in us. We recognize
and accept the presence of the Holy Spirit abiding in us. Not only because the Word has spoken
to our minds, but because God’s Spirit has spoken to our spirits and awakened us to a special
relationship with the Holy Spirit. God has placed the Spirit of Jesus, His Son, in us.
“And
because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son
Into
your hearts….” (Galatians 4:6).
Many
of us are not Bible Scholars in the natural, but we hear our Father’s voice and recognize it
by the Holy Spirit Who abides in us, teaching us; prompting us; bringing fresh revelations each time
we fellowship with Him.
This
is the beauty I see when we have such a relationship with our Lord; that we can open His Word anywhere
and know what He is talking about. Then, the Holy Spirit brings God’s Words to our remembrance
just when we need them. He reveals to us how they are the answer to specific concerns in our daily
lives.
As
children we are taught the Word. As sons, we become the Word. As shocking as this may sound,
it is true.
I
was shocked when I read what Paul said to the Galatians. “And my temptation which was in
my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.” (Galatians
4:14).
Then
Paul said in verse 19, “My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ
be formed in you.” Can’t we see that this is what God wants for His children?
The mystery of Christ
in you, the hope of Glory, is explained in Colossians 1:25-27.
Please
read John 5:18-19 where the Jews sought to kill Jesus because He said that God was His Father, making
Himself equal with God. They didn’t know the WHOLE story.
Then
Paul said to the Philippians in Chapter 2, verses 5-7, “Let this mind be in you,
which is in Christ Jesus, Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with
God. But made Himself of no reputation (here is the balance), but took on Him the form of
a servant, and was made in the likeness of man.”
We
have to read the whole story to understand. J I’m certainly
NOT saying that we are God. No one is God except God. But we are His SEED, and His seed abides
in us. He is NOW desiring to manifest His sons in the earth and if we do not receive our
sonship, we cannot enjoy His manifestation. We must not be ashamed to be called a son of God.
I
pray that you take these seeds of thought and use them as spurs that bring you boldly to the throne
of God with the Sword of the Spirit (S/word) which is the Spirit and the Word working together. As
they work together in you, God will give you your own understanding of what He desires to show you
personally.
No. God
does not contradict Himself. He just wants you to hear from Him for yourself according to where
you are today and according to His plans for your life.
“He
that hath seen Me, hath seen the Father.” (John 14:9).s
Lord, our
prayer is that we will be able to say this about each other. Thank You for the revelations of who we are in You. Thank You for the FULLNESS
of Your Love in us. Thank You for manifesting Your Son through us.
