DAISIES AND APPLE STEMS

Young
girls use to pull the petals from a daisy as they tried to find out if their current beau (boyfriend)
loved them or not. They would use an apple stem to find out the first letter of the name of the man
they would marry. Each turn of the apple, twisting off the stem, would count for a letter of the alphabet.
If it came off on “E”,
it was probably Ethan or Everett, or possibly someone they were hoping would love them.
But the really
big one was the Daisy. “He Loves Me. He Loves Me Not.” They were hoping the
last petal to come off would say, “He Loves Me.” If it did…oh, what joy they experienced
until they pulled another daisy and began to play Romantic Roulette. If the daisy said, “He Loves
Me Not.” Then they believed that, too. And became cast down and despondent.
We
don’t know that the fruit
Eve picked in the Garden was an apple, but we know she bit into it and ate of it. Surely there were
daisies
around
and when the serpent began to tempt her with the “Need to Know”…she
bought the lie.
After her
fall…how many
daisies must she have picked, wanting to know if Adam really loved her? Then the other daisies she picked,
wondering if God really loved her; probably blaming them both for having kicked her out of her home.
“He loves me…He loves
me not.”

Before
Eve believed the first lie, she had no doubt that her husband loved her. Now, however, she and her
generation of daughters are still picking petals from daisies.
This
should not be! In either situation. A woman should not have to guess if her husband loves her or not.
If he believes in his heart that he loves her, he should confess it with his mouth…just
as we do our love for God. When she hears him confess his love for her, she is satisfied. Just as “faith” cometh
by “hearing”, God means for her to hear that her husband loves her.
I
personally believe this curse was removed from Eve and her daughters when Jesus went to the Cross to
pay for their sins. When they receive Jesus, they no longer need to pick daisies. I pray that Christian
women begin to receive this revelation. Because it is the revelation that will set them free.
Every
petal she plucks now should speak the TRUTH to her. Each petal should say: “ He loves me…He
loves me…He loves me.”
In so many
ways, our Heavenly Father tells us how much He loves us.
God
confesses and confirms His Love for us in His Word and by His Spirit. His answer is always “Yes
and Amen. Yes, I love you.”
Any extra
petal on the daisy is just a lie of Satan and does not belong there. And, more than likely, your earthly
husband loves you too, just as Adam loved Eve.

You
no longer have to twist the stem from an apple to find out Who your Heavenly Lover is. I can tell you
now…His first initial is “J”.
Because
of the Power of the Cross, what Christ did for us there, we can return to the Garden of Eden as it
was before the fall. Let’s go there today and stay where all the daisies say: “He Loves
Me”, and all the apple stems say “Jesus”. Let’s go where TRUTH prevails and we
are no longer tempted to believe the lies of Satan.
EVERY PETAL SAYS THE SAME THING.
“He
Loves Me.”
FINAL TRUTH!
One
more daisy we need to consider: Jesus said, “A new command-ment I give unto you, that ye
love one another as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that
ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another.” (John 13:34-35).
Are
others mentally plucking petals from daisies, wondering if you love them? “Oh, Father, we
desire to be like You (Love). As we see the enemy trying to cause strife and division in the Body of
Christ, may all the daisies we give, be examples of Your FULL LOVE for all men (nothing missing-nothing
broken). May there be no more petals of doubt or chance, but may we offer the same pure truth of Your
FULL LOVE that You gave to us.
“Every petal on the daisy that you gave us says: ‘I Love You.’ Lord,
help us to do the same for others.”
