FULLNESS OF FAVOR

      The Hole in the Doughnut was back again this morning and I knew our Lord was the only one with the answers I needed to bring peace back into my world.
      Our conversation went like this: “Lord,” I said, “I need some answers.” He answered: “Some things it is better that you don’t know.”
      I was specifically needing an answer about my husband. “Lord, I really don’t know what You want me to do or not do. I’m willing to keep praying for the restoration of our family, but it robs me of so much peace.
What should I do to get past this and go on with a productive life?”
      He repeated: There are some things that it is better for you NOT to know. If you knew, (considering your temperament), you would likely:
l. Talk about it and make it worse.
2. You would try to “fix” it.
3. You would try to change their opinions.
4. Vain imaginations would attack you.
      Understanding does bring you peace, but there are some things that you do no need to know. What is it that you don’t understand?
      I don’t understand how my husband seems to reject You, Lord. And when he rejects You, he rejects me.
      “Which is more important?”, the Lord asked.
      “You, Lord.”, I answered.
      “Then pray for him. I will tell you what you need to know.”

      “What is it that you desire, Gwen?”
                                          FAVOR, LORD
      Recently I had been praying for “favor with man” after I read a passage of scripture a dear friend sent to me, showing how Paul’s revelation went forth much faster when he received the favor of the other apostles. I knew I had a message to send forth, so it made sense that if I have the favor of man, the message would sooner be accepted.
      Our Lord brought the real truth to the surface as He began to speak to my spirit: “There is only one reason that you should desire the favor of man…that is so that My Word goes forth swiftly…and is less hindered.
      Otherwise, you will become satisfied, and possibly haughty. Trust Me! I know what I am doing.
      “If you had all the favor you desired from your earthly husband…you would forget that you need Me. And My plans for you would be stopped.
      “If you had all the favor you desire from your sons, you would be led in another way…never satisfied…and My plans for you would be altered.
      “If you had all the favor of the local church…you would be led astray because they would be lifting you…often by their beliefs, and you would be listening to them more than to Me. (That is just human nature.)
      “Once you begin to receive FAVOR from man…you will always want more. But My FAVOR is Without Measure.
      “I have given you the better gift…My Favor…without measure. It is FULL.
      “So be grateful…when you do not have the favor of men. But desire that I might receive favor in their eyes.
      “I’ve called you to write and I’ve given you the seed (My words) to sow. I am your Heavenly Husband, and there is none other like Me. You know you can TRUST Me. The world cannot supply the things you need.
      But, I know you and I know your needs…and I will supply all of them… especially when you Receive My Unlimited Favor of you. And you seek for Me to have more favor with My Bride. MY FAVOR. Promote Me…not yourself.
      “Just be you…the one I created…the one I love…the one who has found My Favor. And will walk in the knowledge of it more every day.”
      “When you have FAVOR with GOD, others will see your peace and desire to walk in the same Favor. It’s not anything like the world’s favor. It is so much higher and greater. Impossible to obtain the awareness of the FULLNESS of it without a relationship with Me.
      “Do they (My children) want My Favor? Many have it but they don’t understand the FULLNESS of My Favor…until they come to Me personally and listen, and allow Me to explain it to them.
      “Put Me first. When you understand that My Favor for you will manifest all the more each time you seek for Me to have FAVOR with man.
      “You don’t really need favor with man. When I have favor with man, you abide in me and I in you…and you will be “satisfied” by the FAVOR I receive from man.
      “It is a mystery. So there you have it. Did I explain it well enough for you?”
      And I answered: “Yes, Lord. Thanks.”

      Then I understood. When you have the FAVOR of GOD, you don’t need the favor of man nor even desire it. When you recognize His FULLNESS OF FAVOR in you. It is more than enough. And the hole in my doughnut is filled today with God’s FAVOR.
      This is a gift from God. Until you meet with Him and allow the Holy Spirit to explain it to you personally, it is just “words.” But when you talk to Him, and allow Him to assure you, then you’ll be comforted and strengthened in His purpose for your life…as you are able to receive the FULLNESS of His FAVOR.

Condiment: In the Holy Spirit’s round about way, He gave me a greater wisdom than I was seeking. Yet, he gave me the good solid answer I needed about the confusion I felt toward my husband. I needed a simple answer; a direct word from God to hold me steady. He revealed to me that I was “seeking my husband’s favor” and that now I must not do that. Whew! What a relief to hear from God.

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” (Luke 2:52). Jesus already has FAVOR with GOD. What can we do to help Him have FAVOR with man? J
      I pray that Jesus have FAVOR in your eyes today and that you seek until you find the revelation of His FULLNESS OF FAVOR in you.
