A DIFFERENT KIND OF
PRAYER REQUEST
DISCERNMENT
Dear Ones,
I received this prayer request today on the Angel Food Blessings web site. It is not my regular email, so I almost missed it. There are times I receive emails from foreign countries and must ask our Lord for discernment because some of them are scams.
I do believe our Lord gives His children discernment and I ask for yours at this time. After reading Cindy’s request and considering the knowledge our Lord has made available to us in these days about world events, you decide if she is sincere. If so, please consider how you would pray for her and even consider her question at the end of her letter because I do not know the answer to this either.
I am assuring her that many of us in America are praying for her but I will also send a private letter to her to encourage her. God doesn’t waste our prayers. But, I do see this as a good time to use the Discernment God gives us because I believe we will be needing it more and more in the days to come.

It has been a great blessing to read an email sent to me by a friend. 25 minutes in Hell. It has had an impact on my thoughts, heart and spirit. stirring up in me the desire to have Jesus and the Holy Spirit in my life more intensely and discovering my purpose. In South Africa times are incredibly tough, our business's are suffering due to our Government, taxes, interest rates, rising food and petrol prices, our laws and injustice. Murder, rape, you name it ... it happens right under our noses here in S.A. currently with our economy state it is Leaving no space for us a realtors in this country to earn a living. I am a Real Estate Agent with our own business. My Husband is owner of this business so both our incomes are directly affected. I have been praying so hard for the Lord to show me a way. How do I survive in a time that is desolate, there is no light for property sales in our country hence we are unable to provide for our family. Where does this leave us as a children of God. About to lose everything we have worked so hard for, provide for our 4 beautiful children. Where do we begin to hear God in my current situation? How do we know what steps to take next to provide for our family? I seek Gods word I stand on Faith and believe, I become still in the hope to hear from God, yet it seems like He does not hear or is it me that does not know how to tap in to the voice of the Lord,? How do I know if it is God directing me in a certain direction or if it is our ownself. We are praying for God to show us the way. I am just not certain if we are being shown??
Our Zimbabwe Government (Robert Mugabe) states publicly to our people,, ..'Only God can remove him from his Presidency" This man is a murderer, his people flea from his country into ours, they have nothing left they are killed if they don't support this man or even if government thinks they don't support they kill them and their families, takes their food homes and destroys everything he touches. this is causing a mass increase in deaths in our country as our Africans fight for 'there' land... In fear we live.. We pray too that our Lord will remove this man from his reign. As well as for the presidency of our South African president and our economic distress.
Do you have any guidance for me regarding my situation on a spiritual level. How do I know if I should leave my country - seek residency somewhere else. Or remain where I was born. I am seeking spiritual guidance as I would truly like to do as my Heavenly Father would require from me.
Feeling terribly spiritually depressed.
