CHEERFUL  SURRENDER
I Surrender All, Lord.
What is ALL?

When we say we surrender ALL to God, do we really mean All?  Or do we continue to have some ulterior motive for surrendering?  Is it a struggle or sacrifice to surrender, hoping we will get something in return?
Do we surrender our weaknesses as well as our strengths?
Does “surrender” to God mean that we have been in a battle with Him…and lost?  And, we’ve only surrendered because we had no choice?  Was there still a bit of resentment in us in this type of surrender?  Or did the Grace of God step in and show us the kind of surrender He delights in?

A CHEERFUL SURRENDER
(Sweet and Peaceful)

As our Lord loves “cheerful” giving from the heart; I believe He also loves it when His children are able to exhibit “Cheerful Surrender”.

OUR  TIGHT  LITTLE  FISTS
$

Many of us can relate to money perhaps more than to other areas.  Even when we tithe or give to others financially, is it with a begrudging spirit?  Not always.  But, sometimes we just forget to Give Freely…with a spirit of Sweet Surrender.
To open our tight little fists and simply release the things we have, with a cheerfulness that can only be present when we have learned HOW to open our “tight little hearts” and surrender ALL that we are, to our Lord.  This includes the good, the bad, the finished, and the incomplete.
NOT because we are forced to; begrudgingly, but simply because we want to.  And, because we’ve tasted the JOY of  FREELY GIVING, not only money…but every part of ourselves.

2 CORINTHIANS 9:7- 8A
“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
“And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you;…”

WHEN WE
FREELY  SURRENDER

When we “freely surrender” every part of ourselves to God, we are set free from many religious traditions and laws that kill.  We are TOTALLY TRUSTING God now, to carry out His Plan for our life…no longer judging by what we see in the natural.
This is NOT…GIVING UP on Life.  It is “Letting Go”…with a sweet and cheerful surrender to our Lord Whom we love with all our heart.  We cheerfully surrender all of our yesterdays, all of today, and all of our tomorrows to Him.
We cheerfully surrender, Lord.  Just because we want to and have purposed in our hearts just how much we want to surrender to Your keeping.  Father, we desire that it be ALL.

As recent as yesterday
As current as today
And
Every Tomorrow You Have Planned
For our Future.

May our sweet, cheerful surrender bless You, Lord
As
It blesses us.
