FIRST  STEP
IN
THE RIGHT DIRECTION

THE   FIRST  STEP  WE  TAKE
IN THE MORNING
WILL DETERMINE
WHERE WE’RE GOING FOR THE DAY

 
          As I wait before our Lord in the morning, in my knower, (a type of witness of the Holy Spirit’s direction) I just know that the first step I take today will set the course of my path for the rest of my day.
So, I wait.  I listen.  I choose.

MY GREATEST DESIRE

          My greatest desire is to walk in His Presence.  So, I wait.   After greeting Him with my “Good Morning Father, Good Morning Jesus, Good Morning Holy Spirit” prayer, and putting on my Armor from Ephesians 6:10-20, I am led into prayer for MANY as Holy Spirit brings them to my mind.  Often, I write their names in the left column of my prayer writing paper.  I find great comfort in Praying in the Spirit as truly the Holy Spirit is a great Prayer Partner who expresses desires of my heart that I am not able to put into natural, earthly words.  This brings me PEACE.  It’s here that I am reminded that the First Step I take in the morning will set my course for the day.

THE MUSIC

          As I wait, music begins to play in my heart.  It’s songs of Peace that God seeded in me from childhood.  And I once again recall the scripture in Psalms 100:4.
                             “Enter into His Gates with Thanksgiving,
                              And into His Courts with Praise:
                              Be (remain) thankful unto Him, and
                              Bless His Holy Name.”

THEN MY WALK-ABOUTS
BEGIN

          I am attracted to Psalms 100:4, but am then enticed to read all of Psalms 100 and on into Psalms 101.

WHY (LAMA) DO I SHARE THIS?

          Why do I share this?  For one thing, I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the Power of God.  (Romans 1:16).  And, since by His Grace He has allowed me to tap into His Source of Power, I so desire to help someone else receive the same PEACE and JOY I find in His Presence.
          There are as many ways to be in His presence as there are different children.  Many of my friends do not need this but if there is a young person out there somewhere in Xala land who does, I pray this will help them.  I can only share what I know.  And, if they do not have another plan, but desire to be in His Presence, perhaps this will give them a start on their own path.

ASHAMED?
HOPE

          “Hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”  (Romans 5:5).

FIRST  STEP

          I’m not where I want to be yet…but, I’ve taken a step forward.  Oh, how I love His Sweet Presence.  Daily, He restores my soul…as I wait for His Presence.  I know I could experience it sooner each day if I were able to immediately step through the cob webs of my natural mind as I awake each morning and immediately begin to Praise Him.
          As my dear xaver (from Holland) says, “I shall try.”
          God knows the desire of my heart.  While in His Presence, Holy Spirit directed this step for me…so I do BELIEVE it will come to pass.  I know some of you already “Have it”…and the rest of us will RECEIVE it…because our High Priest, Jesus Christ, still lives today and is in constant intercessation for us as He watches tenderly over us and sees our Father gradually completing the work He has begun in each of us. 

THIS IS A GOOD FIRST STEP

          May we Praise God all day long today as we have entered His Court with Praise.  May it be so delightful that every step we take today will be a
