BOLD AS A LOIN
(Proverbs 28:1)
The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
HE MUST INCREASE
BUT
I MUST DECREASE
(John 3:30)
This may sound like a paradox. In one breath we are saying we must be “As bold as a Lion”. In the next, we are saying we must “decrease”. Only by His Spirit do we understand that verse 27 is the answer to this question.
“A man can receive nothing, except it be give to him from heaven.”
APOLOGETICS
As some of you have come to the table our Lord has had me prepare for some time now, I realize that my words are strong at times and weak at others. By now, you may be thinking that I may think too highly of myself. I assure you, I do not. I dare not!
For His reasons I felt our Lord wanted me to comfort you in this area. I must even comfort myself that I remain true to God to write only what Holy Spirit gives me.
We must never think too highly of ourselves nor allow any person to think too highly of us. Surely that’s why I hear the song in my spirit nearly every morning no matter what I am thinking about. “Lift Jesus Higher”. And the scripture that says…”And I, if I be lifted up, I will draw all men/women unto Me.”
As Jesus said only what the Father said, I too, (even with the limitations of a mortal) sift through the words I hear in my spirit…to write as clearly as possible, only what I hear in my spirit.
Should I share personal experiences, struggles, or joys…it is because there may be “someone” at my table who needs to know that they are not alone in their present day perplexities. It is not to lift myself but to keep Jesus Center State on the platform of the sermons each of us may be called to preach.
For, I say through the Grace given unto me (us), to every man or woman among us, not to think of ourselves more highly than we ought to think; but to think soberly (in balance), according as God has dealt to each of us the measure of faith. (Romans 12:3). For, we, being many are one Body in Christ, and every one members one of another. (Romans 12:5).
BOLD AS A LOIN
(Proverbs 28:1)
AT THE TABLE
Shulxan ( שולחן ) Table

I know you are busy and must get back to your own work, so I won’t detain you further this morning as I remain in my spiritual kitchen relishing the savor of the meal our Lord has prepared for us…about the lion/Lion. The little lion being satan and the Great Lion being our Lord.
But, I will leave you with these three verses and ask you to invite Holy Spirit to speak to your spirit as to what they mean to you personally today.
THINK ON THESE THINGS
(As taken from following verses)
The wicked flee when no man pursueth them (this is not you), but the righteous (you are made righteous by the Blood of Jesus) are BOLD AS A LION (Thee Lion). (Proverbs 28:1)
(You) who through FAITH…SUBDUED kingdoms (have and will continue to) wrought righteousness, obtained promises, STOPPED THE MOUTHS OF THE LIONS (By Faith in Truth) (Hebrews 11:33).
Not withstanding (when the counterfeit – little lion – roared at you with lies, condemnation, fear, doubt, confusion) the Lord stood with you, strengthened you, that by you the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear, and you and I were delivered out of THE MOUTH of THE (little) LION. (2 Timothy 4:17).
You May Be Excused…ha.
Have a Good Day
