Acquire The Taste

YOUR  PLACE  AT  THE  TABLE

          Our Lord had to repeat it to me many times and still has to remind me that my place at the table is to Send Forth His Word through Writing.  I pray that you have been shown your place by now.  If not, Holy Spirit will reveal it to you so that you can stay on track daily.

HOLY  SPIRIT  QUESTIONS

          While visiting with our Lord this morning, He began to ask me these questions.  You might consider how they relate to your life as well.
          “Where would you be today if God had not moved you out of the place where you were?
          “Would you be closer to Him (God) or farther away?  Shifting – sorting – positioning.
          “Where would you have chosen to be – assuming that was the UNLTIMATE place to make you happy?
          “Didn’t you realize that every shift in your life carried its own JOYS and SORROWS?
          “How could you be so naïve?  My little Polly Anna?”

THE  ZIG  ZAG  LIFE

          “A lot of dead ends.  After you have eaten each meal – tried out each new restaurant – you always came home to Me (God). J  My Home-Cooked meals were the only ones that satisfied you.  Your poor soul could never be satisfied…always wanting more.
          “No, dear one…the Bitter Herb is what makes the Sweet…so sweet.  Can you accept the bitter as well as the sweet….?  Only children would live on candy alone.  They must acquire a taste for the Bitter.”
          Gwen:  “Oh my goodness, Lord.  How do we do that?”

HOW?

          I think our Lord must love that question.  Because when He hears us ask “How?”, He knows we desire to do what Holy Spirit is suggesting.  Not by (our) power, nor by (our) might, but by His Spirit that works in us to do His will.

ACQUIRE A TASTE FOR THE BITTER?

          How does one do this God’s Way?  I leave this Riddle with you today.  After all, these Xala Bread messages are more to entice others to seek answers from the Lord and His Word for themselves.  I look forward to hearing some of your answers.
          Remember:  We are equal parts of the Body of Christ…and no one part has all the answers without considering what God may have placed on our brother or sister’s plate.

          So, if you have a “recipe” for this Riddle, would you please share with me today, or as soon as you figure it out?  I’m cutting this message short because I’m already receiving some information but I don’t want to spoil the surprise ending…when we each find an answer to share.
