A  LOOSE   WOMAN
 

How does God do this…cut the ties; even soul ties, that bind us?
          Of course this title makes me laugh, reminding me that our Lord does have a sense of humor.  The strict, religious Gwen of the past: who could believe anyone would ever hear her call herself a “loose woman”?

DARKNESS

          After several days of darkness, I felt our Lord shine a great light of freedom for me.  It was like the angels who came to minister to Jesus in Matthew 4:11, which says:  “Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.”
            This was after His temptation in the wilderness just before His ministry began.
            Isn’t it interesting that the last thing Jesus said before the devil left Him was Matthew 4:10.
          “Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”

UNDERSTANDING
SOUL TIES

          “Forgive us Lord, for we know not what we do.”  Notice the difference in this verse between “love” and “worship”.  He didn’t say not to love one another.  He said not to worship one another.
          Romans l:21 speaks of hearts that are darkened.  Verse 25 continues, saying, “Who changed the TRUTH of God into a LIE, and WORSHIPPED and served the (created) creature (man) more than the Creator, Who is blessed forever.”

FOR  OUR  OWN  GOOD
Anything our Lord tells us is for our own good.

PROMPTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

          This morning as I was flying FREE…not by my own power or might but by the Grace of God, I felt a prompting that I have learned to recognize.  He told me to call a specific person.  I was a little surprised, but recognized His familiar direction.  I had heard it before.
          Then He said, “Do it NOW.”
          Wouldn’t you know…this person was just walking into their office….  The TIME was right!  I can’t say I was surprised.  Holy Spirit is so faithful to teach and train us to hear His voice…for the good.  He loves us.

MAN IS MADE FOR WORSHIP

          Man/woman was created with a special place in their heart with the need to worship.  If we don’t know God and His Love for us, we will cling to each other…(His Creation) instead of Him, The Creator.  Yet, He knows our hearts and knows that our spirits hunger for TRUTH.  Therefore, His Grace will reveal His Truth to us…and each new step of Truth…helps us find a way to loose any ties that bind or restrict us in the wrong way.

DON’T  BE AFRAID
 
          “Fear Not!”, God’s Word is always saying.  Like a hot air balloon, you are riding in…just waiting to be SET FREE…SET LOOSE.  Can you picture the stakes on the ground…with a rope tied to each stake? 
          Allow each rope to represent some person in your life that you have tied yourself to or they have tied to you.  When you recognize them, just say, “I loose so-and-so in the Name of Jesus.”  And I do believe God’s Grace will cut those ropes for you.  But, once He has shown them to us, our part is to loose them by the words of our own mouth.

LOVE

          Then we can return to the appropriate relationship we are commanded to have with each other…the pure, untainted, Agape Love, God has given us to share.

ASK  GOD  TO  SHOW AND HELP  YOU CUT  THE  ROPES

THEN
          Surrender your spirit, soul, mind and body to Him.  As His Love sets you free to fly…
AS
A “loose woman”…or…“loose man.”
