(Enemy At the Gate)
What’s going on, Lord? What do You want me to share today? I only want to share what You want me to share. What is it?
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. (2 Corinthians 4:1,2) (These words encouraged me this morning as I sought to serve the Xala Bread. Perhaps it’s a type of disclaimer from me to you.) J
 
WARN THEM
Of what, Lord? – You know what!
Warn them again of false prophets
And
That they must be Led by My Spirit.
“I am a spirit and those who worship Me must worship Me in Spirit and Truth. (John 4:24).
Our Lord Continued Speaking to Me
“The TIME of preaching to their souls is coming to a close. If they don’t know My Spirit by now, they will be in great danger. I’ve sent prophets and teachers to teach them how to be ‘led by My Spirit’. In the same way they killed the prophets of old, they have closed their ears to the mouths of the prophets I have sent in their day. It was for their sake I sent the good prophets. I was preparing them for these times.”
gwen: What times, Lord?
Holy Spirit: You know what times.
gwen: Yes, Lord. These times when many will run to and fro, and knowledge is greatly increased. (Daniel 2:4) and (Daniel 12:1) the Time of Trouble, and Joel 2 and 3, pretty well describes it.
ENEMY AT THE GATE
(I continued listening to my own spirit).
 
I heard, “Enemy At the Gate.” The enemy is no longer at the Gate but has infiltrated the camp of America. For years, our Lord has coddled His children; many preachers have preached to souls rather than their spirits. Christ has taken second place in many pulpits.
Many of God’s children have become soft, weak, helpless…as they gave in to their souls instead of their spirits. This is so dangerous.
LOVE YOUR ENEMIES?
We must understand the context in which that was written. We can’t stop there. We must know who our enemies are. And they are AT THE GATE…already here among us. Now, will we hear from God…and be led by His Spirit?
James 4:4 says, “…know ye not that the friendship of the world (those who wish to destroy Christianity) is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” Politicians, Compromise, making deals with the enemy?
My goodness, I don’t want to be the enemy of God. It’s TIME to choose sides…if we haven’t already.
TIME FOR DISCERNMENT
As you watch the news, your spirit has been sharpened to recognize the fallacy and blindness of men who seem to be in authority for a season. As you constantly LIFT JESUS HIGHER, knowing His Word and His promises, you wonder how these people can be so limited in their knowledge…so deceived.
Then you remember that much evil has gone past our gates and entered our country and the lives of our people, because many can no longer see God. They think only of their own comforts and security.
There are innovative plots behind even our government to deceive our world and lull us into complacency. Souls believe what they want to believe, but our spirits know better.
TIMES OF DISCERNMENT
You may not feel you can do a lot about the government. I know we will each do what we think we can….but, let me make this a little more personal…a littler closer to home, because God truly cares for us as individuals even as He cares for the world.
Suppose a young missionary couple comes to see you. They are clean cut, seem so innocent. They are asking you to help finance their ministry. Your soul is a so-called “good soul”…and without thinking (not using the mind of Christ from God’s Word) you agree to help this couple.
Soon, there are many more just like them promoting a religion you would highly disagree with…and your finances are now helping promote that religion. You weren’t prepared to “try the spirits” and see if they were promoting the Word of our One True Lord, Jesus Christ…or of a god of lies, deceit and destruction.
THERE IS HOPE
If you are a child of God, you have the spirit of discernment. The question is: Are you using it? When these people show up on your door step…you will sense a holy “urk” inside of your spirit. This is God’s protection for you and your family.
As we remain sensitive to God’s Holy Spirit and are led by His Spirit, He will show us where to go and what to do. And His GRACE will step in and save us many times by His Holy “Urk”. We must listen to that.
HARD TIMES
Yes, I believe there will be hard times. There are already hard times on the earth and they will likely get worse. But, great COMFORT comes to the child of God who is able to distinguish their soul from their spirit,
(Hebrews 4:12) For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
discerning the signs of the times, not ignoring what they see, but discerning good and evil - and following after good as led by their spirits which belong to God.
SO WE PRAY
That our leaders and those who are in authority will be Led by the Spirit of God…that they will be bold and brave to speak God’s Truth…no matter the consequences to their souls and bodies.
And, Lord, may we do the same.

Dear ones, this was hard on my soul…for me to write these words…but my spirit is clapping its hands with glee…because I completed this Xala Bread today. The enemy of the Lord has fought against me as I attempted to share with you…but the GRACE of God…prevailed.
It may sound rather corny to some…but for those who have experienced this, you may know how many times I had to tell the devil to “shut up”…as he tried to interfere with this message. I’m fairly use to his silly nudgings and they don’t bother me a lot because they have become so obvious.
You see, we can also be prepared to discern his evil spirit of lies and accusations. Praise God! Thank You, Lord.
PLEASE REMEMBER
“GOD is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in Truth.” (John 4:14). Jesus said this. And He also said:
THE TIME HAS COME
“The hour cometh; and NOW is, when TRUE worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.” (John 4:23).
Lord, let it be us.
