ABOUT CROWDS
Luke 12:1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

MY SPIRIT WAS
DISTURBED
Please bear with me as I share what my soul was searching this morning. Actually it began a couple of days ago and stayed with me. I needed to know what was disturbing me. It had to do with huge gatherings of Christians all over the world. Since I (personally) do not like crowds, I was trying to understand what was so great about these gatherings. I didn’t feel good about them and I didn’t know why. (Lama).
POURING OUT SOUL
BEFORE GOD
Sometimes we must simply pour out our soul before God and ask Him what is bothering us. This was mine and you may have had a similar experience.
LOUD CLANGING CYMBALS, LORD
(I Corinthians 13:1)
Or sounding brass and tinkling cymbals.
MAN - POWER
SOUL – POWER
Something is bothering my spirit, Lord. It is like that Speck in the Matza. You know, the part that was burned and thrown away.
There is something in my spirit that needs to be translated to my soul. What is it Lord?
CROWDS GATHER, LORD
Lama? Is this a trap?
Like lambs to the slaughter? Safety in numbers? I don’t think so. “When you hear that the Lord is here…don’t run to that place.” (Matthew 24:24 and 26). Many take the Bread and run with it on their own (soul), Lord. Clanging cymbals. They decorate the cake and entice the souls of man. They decorate the Bread. Make it fancy; color it all up…Oh, Lord what are we doing to Your Bread…Simple Unleavened Bread?
READ THE NEWS
 
How many people pick up their newspaper in the morning, get their cup of coffee and settle in to see what is happening in the world today. All they have to do is read Matthew Twenty Four and see what is going on in our world today.
GOD IS EXPANDING OUR VISION
As we see the prophesies of the Bible coming to pass and even the carnal world is seeing it now…all will soon have to admit that we have been told ahead of time what is happening now and will happen in the future.
I continue to sense the warning that each of us must posses our own souls and know our Lord intimately so that He can direct us as He positions each of us for His purpose.
DISCERNMENT
I have never seen as many people receiving discernment as I have today. For all the deceit Satan is pouring out, I believe our Lord is pouring out more discernment for His people in this day. Praise God.
God has sent and continues to send us good prophets and wise men and scribes. (Matthew 23:34). Yet, many false prophets, so-called wise men, and ungodly scribes, have been sent by Satan to destroy the work of God and His people.
But Jesus says in Matthew 24:4, “Take heed that no man (soul) deceive you.”
There is always the counter part. In Matthew 24:24 Jesus points this out. “There shall arise false christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible (we know all things are possible) they shall deceive the very elect.”
CROWDS
When I became concerned about crowds, these were the two verses that came to my mind and summed it up for me.
Matthew 24:23 & 26
Then if any man (soul) shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there: believe it not. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, He is in the desert; go not forth; behold He is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
(To me that is like people running from one meeting to the next, following the fad of the day, never having time to hear from the Lord for themselves…itching ears to hear what satisfies their souls). [This is definitely NOT TRUE of everyone. Hang on, I’m not through with this Bread, yet.]
HOW WILL WE KNOW
THE FALSE FROM THE TRUE?
HOW WILL WE KNOW WHETHER TO GO TO THAT MEETING OR NOT?
BACK TO ROUND ONE:
Once again, we return to the importance of separating our souls from our spirits. Soul may say: “Follow the crowd. Do what everyone else is doing. They must know where they are going so I will just follow them. I don’t have time to find out for myself if this is what God desires for me. I can trust man…(wrong). I can trust my own soul (wrong).
Once again, I believe our Lord is calling for His people to tabernacle with Him one on one to hear what He would say to us individually and to be
Led by His Spirit speaking to our spirit and translated to our souls…who then know: WHERE TO GO AND WHAT TO DO
“I advise you to obey only the Holy Spirit’s instructions. He will tell you where to go and what to do, and then you won’t always be doing the wrong things your (soul) wants you to do.” Galatians 5:16 (LBP).
MANY ARE CALLED
God may be calling any one of us to attend a large meeting. If so, then we must go. He has His reasons and purposes for positioning each of us. He directs His leaders who are led by His spirit. And we carry His discerning Spirit of Truth within us.
I think that what I am trying to say is, that often in this fast paced world, we hurry out the door, heading to the next meeting, following the crowd, when we have not even taken the time to Ask God if this is where He wants us to be, or why? We go without an agenda and simply follow the crowds.
The verse (Matthew 24:28) can be an eye opener to those who discern the times. I don’t even choose to go into it now…but when it speaks of the eagles in this case…it is not referring to the mighty eagles we admire, but to the buzzards.
NOT JUDGING ANY MINISTRY
I am not judging any ministry, pastor, person, or gathering. That is not my place. It just seems wise to me, that since the Holy Spirit is willing to give us instructions about where to go and what to do, we should at least take the time to hear what He has to say before our souls push us out the door.
In these times, it is more important than ever that each of us learn how to hear from God for ourselves. When the crowd has all gone home and there is no (soul) to follow, what then? Will we listen, then? Will it be too late?
WE STILL HAVE A LITTLE TIME
Let’s learn how to separate our souls from our spirits and hear only what Holy Spirit is speaking to our spirits. Then, we will not be deceived.
TRUTH TO THE MEDIA
As the world is watching the media more than ever, Christians discerning what is false and what is true (according to God’s Word) and the witness in their spirits, many of us long to see the truth on the news. Even if it appears less than the whole truth, we still desire for some talk show host to acknowledge the hand of God on their daily programs so that people who have never considered God, will begin to consider Him.
