BREAKFAST

         For years I worked extremely hard; as obedient to my earthly husband as I knew how to be. I’m sure you did, too. Or, if you are a man, then you worked as hard as you knew how to take care of your wife and family.
         I was so looking forward to the day when the many chores and interruptions that come from raising a family would be past. I loved my children, friends, and work dearly; but I was looking forward to the time my husband and I could really get to know each other and spend time alone. I wanted him all to myself. So, I waited and waited, hoping for that day.
         Well, that time came but it wasn’t what I expected. My soul mate, earthly husband left; but guess Who remained? Of course… my Heavenly Husband who is still with me and has provided the time and place for us to communicate daily.
