DON’T TURN YOUR NOSE UP
“Oh Taste and See that this is Good.”
Psalms 34:8

“God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform.” Is that a scripture? I honestly don’t know, but it sure fits today.
Fellowshipping with our Lord this morning, as usual I wasn’t thinking about what to serve today. I was just enjoying my own meal. But, like the woman in the Bible who found her lost coin, she has to run out and tell her neighbors and friends so they can rejoice with her. Even women today, when they come across an exciting recipe, they tell their friends, “Hey, you’ve got to try this. It is delicious.”
Of course they’ll never know until they taste it for themselves.
MYSTERIOUS WAYS
I’m sure you have noticed how God seems to put just the right book, the right sermon, the right song, the right movie, or right person in your path to help you when you are seeking to know Him better or looking for some answers.
JAN
I stopped by my friend Jan’s office just to tell her thank you for something. Both of us were in a hurry and she was busy. At the last minute, she grabbed a book and said, “Here, you need to read this.” That was quick…. I had no idea what it was about. Jan knows me well, so I knew it would be good.
I just didn’t know how good!
NOW, DON’T TURN YOUR NOSE UP

I don’t know who this is for, but God does. I’m only half way through this book, but I’m seeing things I’ve never seen before…ways to help God’s children.
When I receive a book like this, I always ask God to help me see only what He wants me to see, while my mind automatically double checks if anything sounds different from what the Bible says.
But there is a special anointing on this book and I pray that you will try to obtain it. If not for you, please read it anyway and pass it on to someone you know who does need it.
NAME AND AUTHOR
Well, you can see it here for yourself.
I would never have picked up this book from a book shelf, thinking, “Oh, I’ve already read books like that (eaten that meal). I don’t need that.”
WRONG! When God puts it in your hands like He did mine…then, He knew I needed it.
WALKING IN FREEDOM
Many of us walk in freedom part of the time. And it is Glorious when we do. But I truly believe this book can show us HOW to arrive at the place where we can walk in freedom consistently…and help others do the same.
I APOLOGIZE
When I told our Lord this morning how much I loved Him, He said, “Really?” And smiled. “Yes, Lord, really!” I said. “Then feed My sheep.”
He smiled again.
Well, you know what that meant to me… “Put some Angel Food Xala Bread on the table.
I always desire to serve the best and freshest meal that He serves me in the morning. The reason I apologize is because you will have to go to the store and buy these groceries for yourself.
Forgive me, but I do believe you will be blessed abundantly in the long run. And, as Mrs. Savard serves the meal I feel certain Holy Spirit gave her, you will receive a FRESH FREEDOM in your life that you have never tasted before.
GRACE OF GOD
The way God works His Grace into this meal is amazing. I am already sensing it in my life as He is revealing things to me, about me, that I promise, I had never seen and could not find without His Revealing Grace.
FIRST NEED REVEALED, FULFILLED, AND MET
Abraham Maslow (1908-1970) was an American humanistic psychologist who was noted for his conceptualization of a “hierarchy of human needs.” I’m not here to judge the man but I never felt right about studying his philosophy in one of my college courses. Guess it is just as well that I don’t remember a thing about that course except one statement he made that has always remained with me. I believe that was our Lord’s doing for my sake.
Maslow said: “A need fulfilled is no longer a need.” And I certainly agree with that.
Our Lord showed me this morning that one of my unmet needs had been a great desire for intimacy. Wow! With that information, my life began to make a lot more sense as to why I had acted in certain ways in the past.
There are other things that only His Grace will be able to reveal to me/us…perhaps one at a time. (Although He has already brought two more to me…each one bringing me more freedom.) But, at this time I understand that this need, pointed out by Holy Spirit, has been fulfilled by God, as He has helped me develop a satisfying intimacy with Him.
So, ole Maslow was right. A Need Fullfilled…is no longer a need, and we can move on to more Freedom than we have ever known before.
YOU AND I BOTH
KNOW
That hopefully, God can use me to invite you to the table…but He truly desires to be the One who feeds you personally. Intimately!
And He is not far from every one of us.
PROOF: “That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, though He be not far from every one of us.” (Acts 17:27).
BY THE WAY
I asked the Lord if there was anything else He wanted me to tell you. He always says the same thing: “Tell Them I Love Them.” This time I felt Him add a footnote: “And by the way, I’m looking forward to intimate times with them.”
And, “Oh yes, Read the Book.”
