OLE WIGGLY SNAKE
BITE
HIS TAIL

I often doodle, (sketch simple picture words) during my time with our Lord.  This morning I was seeking the answer to “Why does God allow sickness?”
The picture I sketched was Adam and Eve stick figures, in the Garden of Eden, standing together on the right side of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
From the left I saw the snake coming.  And, a lesson from my childhood came to my mind.  It seemed really strange at the time.  But, I continued to think about it.

Somewhere in grade school a teacher was teaching us to practice writing the figure “8”.  She said to start by making the letter “s” and say, “Ole wiggly snake –bite his tail.”  Doing this over and over we would learn how to make an “8”.  So, at the end of the printed “s” the lines goes from bottom to top and an “8” is formed.  At this point the snake has bitten his own tail.

GOD  CREATED  SATAN
(Colossians 1:16)
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

JUST THINK ABOUT IT

In our Lord’s great plan of creation, everything is relevant.  Without darkness, we could not recognize light.  Without down we couldn’t know up.  Sweet or sour, failure or success, love our hate would not be understood.
          All things have an opposite.
And without evil, we could not know good.  Our lives would have remained an unfinished picture of God’s creation if Satan had not walked on the scene.  It had to be.  And in the long run, Satan bit his own tail each time a child of God found Glory to God in each adverse situation.

My dear sister in the Lord Lorraine says: “nakhash” is the word for snake.
