THE LAMA
And
THE LAMB

            Lamas are funny looking critters, aren’t they?  But as you remember the word “Lama” in Hebrew is a question and it means “Why?”.
This morning I felt I had a yard full of lamas.

     
Some are even cute.

          So, I began with the biggest lama (question) and asked God, “Why”?  Once I had confronted the big one, the little ones seemed to run away.  Jesus is the Answer to all our questions.  And when we really get to know Him, almost every question (lama?) can be tamed by the answer:
“BECAUSE  I  LOVE  YOU!”

WORDS

          You know by now that I am fascinated by “words”.  One of my fascinations is that they have different meanings in different languages, cultures, and situations.  God has a word for every season of your life.
          When I consider and admit how very little I know of what there is yet to know about a subject, I can only hope that my words create more “lamas” (questions) for people to take to their private times with our Lord and ask Him, “Why?”

CORRECT?

          There are people in these days who choose to be:
Politically Correct
Religiously Correct
Historically Correct.
          But, are we personally correct?  Almost any word can teach us something more about our Lord.  It is according to the things Holy Spirit (teacher) has already taught us in our individual lives.
          These lessons come from our environment, culture, and experiences.

LAMA?

          Why, Lord, did You say “No”?  Why, Lord, did You say “Yes”?   Why, Lord, did You say, “Go”?  Why did You say, “Stay”?  Why did You not let me have my way?  Why did You let me have my way?
          This list could go on and on.  But, soon that strange, funny looking LAMA begins to look more like a LAMB…with “LOVE” written all over Him. 

And the ANSWER…is always….

BECAUSE
I
LOVE  YOU!
