          “Good” can easily be seen as the extension of “God”.  If you can put yourself between the beginning and the end letters of His name, you have
GOOD
When you are with (in) God, that is Good…Tov.  Outside of God is “Lo tov”, meaning no good.

          Sacrilegious?  I believe that is the term many might use to insist it is wrong for us to feel so good (tov) about our Father’s love, that we are comfortable in calling Him Aba (אבא ) Father.  It’s like seeing yourself as a little child crawling into His lap and saying:
          “Look Aba!  I drew me into Your name.  I am a part of Your family.  It feels so tov to be included by you.  To be a true part of Your family…
(mishpaxa – משפחה ).”

JESUS  PRAYED

          This helps me understand what Jesus meant when He prayed “That they all (us) may be one; as Thou Father (Aba) art in Me, and I in Thee, that they (believers) ALSO may be one in us:  that the world may believe that Thou hast sent me.”  (John 17:21).
NOW – That is Family!  Mishpaxa!
That is Good!
That is God!
God’s Will!  That is our Good God!

I  EXHORT  YOU

          I exhort you to take this word “Tov” or “good” with you today as you meditate on what “good” means to you.  Not:  “fabulous, fantastic, awesome … just plain “good”.
          A “walk-about”…searching your concordance on the word “good” will amaze you by the abundance of scripture listed under the word “good.”
I’m sure many are already coming to your mind even now.  I hope so.
          How long has it been since you and your Lord discussed what “good” means to you personally?  Not too high minded and spiritual, but deep in your personal earthly experiences.  When did you enjoy simple, old-fashioned, down to earth, “good”?
          That was God’s gift to you in earth.  Don’t lose it or misplace it.  His Goodness is His Glory and He desires for you to be covered by His Glory on earth the same as in Heaven.

This is a Tov Day, created by our Tov God.  For His Children!

          And God saw everything that He had made (even you) and behold…it was Good (Tov).  You are Tov.
