DEAL
OR
NO DEAL

After writing Fresh Bread this morning, I walked out on my back porch in time to see the sun rise. Much brighter than this picture reveals, but as I breathed the fresh cold air, and took the beauty of God’s handiwork right into my spirit, I knew that I had definitely received:
The Deal of A Lifetime.
DEAL
OR
NO DEAL
There are “good deals” and “bad deals”. Then, there are “No deals”.
What is a “Deal”, Lord? Isn’t it when one person sees the advantage of combining assets for a greater benefit to both parties?
DEAL MAKERS
And
DEAL BREAKERS
The Greatest Deal Maker of all is our Lord, Jesus Christ. He makes an offer a wise man would find hard to refuse.
Yet, many do. They compare Him to man and man’s ways. Therefore, they do not TRUST Him to do all He says He will do.
DONE DEAL

On our Lord’s side, it is already a Done Deal. He made His offer and Investment Up Front! He went to the Cross for us to provide eternal life and much more…as His part in the Deal of John 3:16, 17.
We hesitate. We waver. We calculate the cost to us. Because men have lied to us, deceived us, stolen from us; we unwittingly compare His Deal with the deals of men.
But, “God is not a man that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and He shall not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19).
As the prophet Balaam delivered the message about Jacob and Israel in verse 20, “Behold! I have received commandment to BLESS: and He hath BLESSED; and I (man-Balaam) cannot reverse it.”
COVENANT – CONTRACT
When God cut covenant with Abraham and his descendents, God gave us all He had and when we come into Covenant with our Lord, we desire to give Him all that we have.
It may seem like a One-Sided Deal; that God gives us so much good…and we give Him our sins and inadequacies; our weakness for His Strength.
WHAT CAN WE OFFER?
All we have to offer is an imperfect life, our love and loyalty, and truth from our hearts.
IS THAT ENOUGH, LORD?
TO
MAKE A DEAL?
Will You receive us in our weakness, ignorance, selfishness, pride, arrogance, unwillingness, loneliness, hesitations of faith; with all the outer characteristics of man?
YES
“Yes!” We hear a resounding cry, “Yes, Yes, Yes. ‘…and him that
“cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.’ (John 6:37). Just as you receive Me and My offer…I receive you and your offer. I am no respecter of persons. (Romans 2:11).
Jeremiah 29:11 (Living Bible Paraphrased) says, “I know the plans I have for you. They are good, not evil; to give you a future and a hope.”
“I bless those I choose to bless! (Romans 9:15). Look for My Hand in every deal you make on earth. And know this…that since you and I made a deal (covenant-contract) I will never leave you , nor forsake you, nor lie to you. You can TRUST Me. No weapon formed against you will prosper. I will not let you be deceived. You can count on Me.
“Now, stand upon your watch and SEE what I will do in your earthly deals which are nothing in value compared to what I have given you by my Spirit to your inner man and the Glory that awaits you in Heaven.
“Enjoy this life…expect success…but, keep your eyes on Me…and My eternal provision. Always knowing that My ways are much higher than yours. Never less…always More. You Can Trust Me…completely. In doing so, you find your Peace and Rest in Me. It’s a Done Deal!”
COMMIT TO
HIS DEAL
When we commit to His Deal to receive Jesus Christ as our Salvation, the Great Investment He made up front for us at the cross…we have not only accepted the Deal of a Lifetime…but of Eternity. Praise God!
