TIME
CAN YOU TELL TIME?
The time is ___________ (pronounced ha-sha’a.) “Sha’a actually means “hour”. So, the question is: What hour is it?
Amazing Grace…Amazing Love. No matter where we are in life or what we are doing, it appears that our Lord is anxious for us to know Him, hear Him, and think of Him. So, nearly everything we see in the natural, can trigger something in us that also has a spiritual meaning.
Yes, even as I feel the prompting of our dear Holy Spirit this morning telling me that I must know how Tell Time in my Hebrew Lessons, I can’t help but relate it to His Words in the Bible.
There is so much to learn in my text that it will require a miracle from God for me to become fluent in the Hebrew language before the Rapture. But, this is the day (yom) יום our Lord hath made (Psalms 118:24), and for today, I must learn to Tell Time.
SPIRITUAL CLOCK
The word for clock or watch is “sha’on”. And after many “walk-abouts” this morning looking up the scriptures on hour, time, day, etc., I continued to hear the prompting in my spirit that I was to share the following verse with you. His choice, although it did not seem to fit with the way my mind was going.
So, in obedience, I share John 5:28, 29a. “…the hour is coming….”
“Which hour, Lord?”
“In the which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice…and shall come forth.”
HANDS OF THE CLOCK
Praise God. With Daylight Saving Time, we all had to reset our clocks, giving us one more hour (so to speak).
TIME IS ETERNAL
Time is eternal. I pray that today you consider the many things our Lord said about time.
But, the one we look forward to the most, is His return. And, as our Hebrew teacher asks us, “Can you not discern (know, understand, learn) the signs of time?”, our Lord continues to ask us the same in Matthew 16:2-3.
The unspoken question can almost be translated as: If you don’t know how to tell time…when will you learn? And if you know, are you teaching others? Even your children?

CLOCKS

My earthly teacher asks, “Ma ha-sha’a?”, What time is it? And our Heavenly Father asks the same. Can we give Him the right answer? Do we know what time we are in? He tells us clearly in His Word.
