“SQUEEKY  WHEELS”

Good Morning Dear Ones,
I know the correct way to spell “squeeky” is “squeaky”, but  “squeeky” sounds more like what I hear from time to time.

IT’S TIME
 TO STOP THE SQUEEKS

As we wait before our Lord in the morning, He may give us an unusual word like He gave me this morning… “Squeaky Wheels.”  As He is constantly growing and polishing us for His service, He is also showing us things that will make our walk prosperous and smoother.  He has good planned for us with a future and a hope.  (Jeremiah 29:11).
I have expounded much on this, but my objective, and I believe God’s, is for you to meditate on this word for yourself.  What does a “squeaky wheel” mean to you?  How does it apply to your life?  Could your life be better if you were able to get rid of the squeaks?
I’ll try not to bore you with my personal “squeeks” except this one.
God was revealing to me that my life has been one squeak after another.  No matter where I am in life, it seems I am always “squeeking”.  And He showed me that if I allow these squeaks to continue…they will follow me for the rest of my life.
Each day is a new opportunity to move on without a squeak.  Today is a Golden Opportunity to make a Quality Choice to STOP THE SQUEEKS.

THE SQUEAKY WHEEL
GETS
THE ATTENTION

Isn’t that the first thing we think of when we hear the term “squeaky wheel?”  Attention of who?  The mechanic?  The teacher?  The parent?  The law?  Satan?  God?  Self?
Squeaky wheels demand attention.  Broken bones, stomach aches, disappointments, losses.  Too much, too little, too early, too late.  Squeek – squeek – squeek.
Squeaking doesn’t help.  It irritates us and the environment around us.  Will we squeak on through life, or will we Stop it NOW?

SQUEEKY WHEELS
ARE
SELF CENTERED

God is the Wheel in the Middle of our Wheel.  It’s His Will and His Way that makes us run a smooth course.
Ezekiel 1:16 The appearance of the wheels and their work [was] like unto the color of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work [was] as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
The squeaky wheel always finds something to “squeek” about.  Perhaps like a baby wheel in its crib…squeeking, and crying to be satisfied.  Never growing past its “squeeking” stage.  It remains a squeeking wheel…self centered instead of God-centered.
It squeaks through life from beginning to end.  Never stopping; it just keeps rolling and rolling and squeaking and squeaking all the way to Heaven.  When on earth will it Stop Squeeking?
Only when our Lord allows it to see itself as a “squeaky wheel”.  This is revelation that comes through time with our Lord as we desire to be polished and refined and grow in Him.

HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?

The wheel gets tired of hearing its own squeaks and desires something better.  But all it knows to do is squeak out to God to change this detail in its life.
One day the “squeeky wheel” bumps into a rock.  It stops rolling.  All becomes quiet.  There is a moment of peace like a ‘moment of truth’, and the squeaking wheel decides right then and there, that it does not want to “squeak” anymore.
Somehow it knows that if it doesn’t change tires…that this squeaking will follow it the rest of its life…affecting its future as it has its past.

YES

Yes, our Lord hears us when we sound like “squeaky wheels.”  Our cries get His attention.  But, He doesn’t want us to “SQUEEK THROUGH LIFE” from one episode to the next.
He wants us to “roll” our cares on Him…(I Peter 5:7), stop complaining, feeling and acting helpless.  He wants us to remember that:

HE IS THE WHEEL
IN
THE MIDDLE OF OUR WHEEL.

SQUEEKING
THROUGH LIFE

(A Squeaky wheel is going Nowhere)

If you have been a “Squeeker” like me, then I know you don’t want to stay on this treadmill either.  Let’s get on the course that is going somewhere important.
“Squeeks” represent fear and doubt and you know where that comes from.  Satan is not only “sneaky”…he’s also “squeeky.”  Don’t listen to him.
Let’s oil those squeaks with Faith that comes from God’s Anointed Word.  His Word will stop the squeaks every time before they have a chance to become full blown.  At the sound of the tiniest squeak, I encourage you to oil them right away.

TODAY IS A GREAT DAY

Today is a great day to decide that we will NOT ALLOW a “squeeky wheel” to follow us into our future.  Surely we have sqeeked long enough.  It’s time to change…beginning today.  Even if our friends are still squeeking around us, we must not encourage them to do so….  We must be gentle, but we are not doing them a favor by leaving them on a spinning wheel while we go forward.  Let’s agree to:

SQUEEK   NO  MORE!
