HEAVEN
WITH OUR EYES ON HEAVEN
WHY SHOULD WE LOOK AT HELL?
As certain as there is a heaven, there is a hell. As certain as
there is “up”, there is “down”. And the place in between is called “earth”.
Many people are stuck on earth _ in between. They neither receive
the reality of Heaven, nor do they wish to believe there is a hell…prepared for Satan and his angels. (Jude 6, Matthew
25:41, Revelation 20:15).
It doesn’t make us “feel good” at all, when we think
about the tid-bits of things we have heard about hell. All we know, is that it is not a good place to go…and we “hope” it
is not real.
Many people who watched horror movies in the past, stopped watching them
when they realized they brought bad dreams. Wiser saints, much later in life, could pin point the source of their fears
as having originated in these, what they called “scary movies”.
Why did we think it was fun to be scared…tell ghost stories, play “boo” with
our friends, ride roller coasters, and take even greater risks, flirting with death by racing our cars, playing “chicken” on
the road…taking chances?

“No, no, I don’t want to “think about it”, many
of us say. “Doesn’t the Bible say we are to think on whatsoever is pure and lovely and of good report?”
HOW SELFISH CAN WE BE?
As many Christians come under the attacks of Satan and his accusing angels,
ministering accusations of unworthiness to our minds, we’ve become so wrapped up in our own survival that we’ve refused
to consider from whence he comes.
We say, “Praise God, I’m saved. I received my salvation
a long time ago. I no longer have to think about hell. After all, it’s just a place.”
THERE IS A REASON TO LOOK
AND
LOOK DEEPLY
Into
HELL
Hell is a horrible, horrible place. Far beyond our wildest imaginations. Worse
than any horror movie we have ever seen, which by the way, desensitizes people as they cushion their fears by saying, “Oh,
that isn’t real. It’s fake. It’s just a movie.”
Did we ever consider who authors, choreographs, directs, and advertises
these movies? Where did these ideas come from other than the very depths of hell?
I DON’T WANT TO READ ANY MORE OF THIS
Some may be saying by now, “I don’t want to read any more
of this. Can’t we talk about something else? I already have enough hell in my life without going to the pit
to see what is going on there. Why can’t you talk about just the “pure and lovely?”
“This is NOT about you.” I would respond. “It’s
about those you SAY you Love. It’s not about you NOT going to hell; it’s about others because we have
not accepted the reality of hell.”
Where there is an UP (Heaven) there is always a DOWN (hell). Many
can Receive Heaven easily as they are drawn to the Love of God and all the beauty of His Grace. They know there is a hell,
but had rather not THINK ABOUT IT.
TIME IS SHORT
Why do we think our Lord is stressing at these times, that we all take
a second and deeper look at hell? Surely He’s coming soon and it’s not His desire that any should perish.
Even those who are saved by “fear” as we pull them out and
help them avoid the “fires of hell” any way we can. (Jude 12). Personally I had rather be scared into
Heaven and escape hell, than never have the opportunity to know my Lord Jesus at all.
The Hotter we see the Fires of Hell, the more Glorious Heaven becomes.
Is it enough that we receive our place in Glory…yet, leave so many
behind because we dare not warn them of the consequence of not receiving their pardon while still on this earth…this place
between Heaven and Hell?

I’m not exactly sure how this book came into my hands, other than
by God’s design for such a time as this. Neither did I want to read it. I was still clinging to Heaven, afraid
to look at Hell.
A couple of days ago, led by the Holy Spirit, I picked up this book and
began reading. I have never been more convinced about the realities and proof of hell, than I was by this book.
If you SAY you are a Christian and have already chosen Heaven over Hell
for yourself, but desire your loved ones to go with you, a great Open Door to witness is to ask someone, “What do you think
about hell?”
You will be surprised by their answers…even Christians who SAY
they have read the Bible.
May I encourage you to read this book first, because it has l.) one man’s
witness of what he saw and heard. 2.) Every scripture to back up what he saw, and 3.) comments from trusted Christians
such as Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, Grant Jeffrey, John McArthur, Josh McDowell, C. H. Spurgeon, Charles Stanley, and others.
