YOUR WORLD
Have
you noticed that the most enjoyable part of a conversation is when it is about you?
Oh, we are polite and try to be quiet and let others talk about themselves. We
try not to focus attention on ourselves or our own needs, adventures and plans. But, invariably we will find a point in the
conversation where our need to be heard wins out.
REJOICE
There is a special place where you are FREE to
talk about your desires, plans, and adventures. And it is to Someone who has all the time in the
world to Listen to you. Someone who is deeply interested in what you have to say.
He celebrates with you in every success you experience. He understands
all your questions. He’s never angry with you. He delights in your presence.
YOUR TIME WITH HIM
So, when you desire to talk freely about yourself,
don’t feel condemned. Don’t try to hold back. Our Father has BIG EARS, and an even
BIGGER HEART.
During these quiet visits, no one else is there to hear your conversation. No
one interrupts. During these times His eyes are focused on you as though you are the only person in His world…just
you and Him.
He shuts out all other voices and noises because He TRULY wants to hear
what you have to say…about yourself.
LOVE IS LIKE THAT
“Father, I pray that we can be more like
You in this respect. That we will Love others the way You love us. We will love those who come
to see us. So much so, that we will LISTEN intently to them talking to us about themselves.
WHY CAN WE DO THIS, LORD?
We can do this Father, because we have spent time
with You and our need to talk about ourselves has been met and satisfied…for this day.
“Thank You, Lord…for caring so much for us.
“Thank You, Lord, for allowing us to lay the cards on the table and
sort out the details of our life as we seek daily to know…where to go and what to do.”
As with Jacob in Deuteronomy 32:10-14, we can see ourselves as the “Apple
of His Eye”…as in verse 12. “So, the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with
him.”
EYE TO EYE
The Promise in Isaiah 52:8. As we visit
with our Lord and see “Eye to Eye” with Him, we long for the day when we can all see “Eye
to Eye” with each other.
He promises that that day will come. This is our Hope in the Lord. This
is His desire and ours. And the answer to His Prayer that we will all be one with each other and Him. (John 17:21).
The Promise: “Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the
voice together shall they sing, for they shall see EYE TO EYE, when the Lord shall bring again Zion. (Jerusalem)”.
Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. Yes, Lord. For in THAT DAY
we shall all see EYE TO EYE.
NOW
I’ve poured my heart out to the
Lord.
He heard every word I said.
So,
I don’t need to
Repeat Myself to Others
…unless it will benefit the hearer.
I am satisfied that I have been heard.
So,
Now, I can hear you.
