COVER YOUR CURSES WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS
Galatians 3:13 Christ
was made a curse for us.
The Blood of Jesus is greater than any curse in
your life. This morning I felt our Lord say, “I have My children covered. When will
they realize the POWER of My Blood, poured out for them?”
TODAY’S
CONFESSION
“I confess the Blood of Jesus over all curses
in my life…because I am of the seed of Abraham. I receive the blessings of Abraham
because of the Blood of Jesus poured out for me. For, He will curse those (satan and his crew) who
curse me and bless those who bless me.” (Genesis 12:3).
UNBROKEN CURSES
A dear sister-in-the-Lord, called me yesterday
and asked about a book written by Rebecca Brown, M.D., and Daniel Yoda. It was about curses being
a hidden source of trouble in a Christian’s life. I had read the book and knew what the author
said was true.
Our Lord says to “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman
that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15).
My thoughts went back to those years when our dear Holy Spirit was training
me in Spiritual Warfare. Second Corinthians 10:3-4 says, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the
flesh: For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;”
Of course I did not choose to go back and dwell in that season of training,
but I was immediately able to call on the knowledge our Lord had instilled in me for such a day as this. The battle no longer
hurt; it had just become fact for me and I could move on to higher ground and a greater call to VICTORY.
MANY CURSES
As
I considered the many curses that could be on my life and family, instead of charging forth to battle
each one and becoming diversified, having my thoughts scattered into weakness, I knew that today, I could
simply place them UNDER THE BLOOD OF JESUS.
But FAITH comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans
10:17). When we don’t read God’s Word, we don’t know about the Power of His Blood; therefore, we do not
have the faith to confess His Blood to satan…over ALL our curses. Without knowledge of God’s Word, we have
less foundation for our faith.
DON’T IGNORE THE
CURSES
Don’t ignore the curses. But, when
satan sends a messenger to tempt you to fight them, simply remember Whose child you are…and CONFESS “Jesus
became a curse for me (Galatians 3:13) and ALL the curses against me are COVERED by HIS BLOOD. He
died once for all….(Romans 6:19).
For ALL people, times, and curses.
The Holy Spirit is our Teacher, and should He lead you through a season
of understanding the wiles of the devil…it’s better than denying that he is out there seeking who he can devour. (I
Peter 5:8). We need to know our enemy.
But, more than that, we need to know our Lord, and understand the
Power of the Blood of Jesus.
No, we won’t learn it all at one sitting, but each TRUTH the Holy
Spirit brings to us daily is able to satisfy us for that day.
Remember: I call this type of revelation...“Angel Food”. It’s
the food for our soul that satisfies our hunger for the Presence of God, daily.
YOUR SERVING
Perhaps our Lord served you something else today,
as you went on your walk-about through His Word; as He enticed you by one Word, or one thought, and you
went SEEKING with your whole heart, what He had to say in His Word. He satisfied you with the Bread
of Heaven, Jesus.
AS FOR ME
MY DISH TODAY
As for me, my dish today is a greater understanding
that Christ Jesus became a curse for me and that I must no longer “Plead” the Blood of Jesus
over myself, family, and loved ones…but rather appropriate it by CONFESSING that it is done.
We no longer need to “Beg” God to do something He has already
done. We don’t take His Sacrifice Lightly…but CONFESS with CONVICTION…the POWER made available to us
when Christ Jesus became a curse for us…so that we can receive the Blessings of Abraham. (Deuteronomy 11:8-15).
Don’t take my word for this. Please check it out for yourself. Our
Father delights in hearing from each of us. He is more than willing to answer our questions when we SEEK Him.

by the Blood of Jesus daily.
“For the accuser (satan) of our brethren (and us) is cast down, which
accused (us) before our God day and night.
“And (we) overcame him by the BLOOD of the Lamb and the Word of (our)
testimony….” (Revelation 12:9-12)
