“JUST IMAGINE”
Try to
“imagine”…Picture …what life would be like if you were convinced that everyone
you knew…truly loved you.
Babies are good at
this. Puppies and kittens, too. Unless, at some point they are abused and
become fearful.
NOT CONVINCED?
Perhaps you are one
of those people who could never BELIEVE others loved you. No matter how often
they tried to tell or show you; you were never convinced.
HOW SAD
How sad if there
were ten people in your life and five of them loved you, but you weren’t
convinced. In fact, you didn’t BELIEVE that any of them loved you. Then you
missed out on five or ten special blessings…just because you couldn’t BELIEVE.
WHAT CAN WE DO?
Loving others is
not enough. I’ve found that our picture is not complete until we ACCEPT the
love others have for us. It may not come wrapped in the package we expect, but
if we BELIEVE in our heart and confess out loud, that we are loved, great
healings will begin to take place in our lives. Calling those things that be not,
as though they are, we will have whatsoever we SAY. (Romans 10:9, Mark 11:23
and Romans 4:17).
WHY DO I SAY
“JUST IMAGINE”?
Because the first
step of faith is a picture in our mind of a desire God places in us to fulfill
His plans for our lives. We create an image.
It is every
person’s desire to be loved. And, if the devil convinces them that they are
not loved, they will hurt unnecessarily.
YOU DISAGREE?
If you disagree
with this plan of JOY for you today, that’s okay. One of the purposes of Angel
Food is to stir your thoughts to search out the deeper truths for yourself.
The things I say are prompted and backed by what I read in the Bible…plus
revelation from our dear Holy Spirit.
GOD WANTS YOU HAPPY
God wants you to know you are loved, by many people. Do we think we are the only ones who have God’s
Love abiding in us? We’ve been deceived when we think we are the only ones
offering love.
The same love that
abides in us abides in all of God’s children. Today is a good day to FOCUS on
the Love of God that is available to us from His other children.
It’s not their
fault when we don’t receive the love others offer us. We haven’t taken a
closer look into their hearts to find the Love of our Father in them. Only
they and God know how much they love us. Only we and God know how much we love
others.
God has commanded
that we LOVE ONE ANOTHER, so there is plenty of Love available to us, from
different sources; different people; different ways. Let’s look for it and see
what each person in our life is offering today…in some form of love.
Let’s agree today
to Practice Receiving the LOVE of God through many imperfect vessels
such as we. Let’s not expect others to convince us. Let us be
convinced in our own hearts that we are loved…and that God uses people, pets,
and nature to lavish us with His Love.
JUST FOR TODAY
Just for Today.
Imagine that everyone you see, loves you. It doesn’t matter whether they do or
not, this is your practice in training yourself to RECEIVE love. The
Bible says, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he….”. (Proverbs 23:7). Only
God knows how many will benefit from this. But, most of all you, because you
are learning HOW to BELIEVE that others love you.
THEY CALL HER HANDICAPPED
My thoughts go back
to Kingwood High School when I was coaching there. I can’t remember the young
girls name but she would run up to anyone, hug them, and say, “I love you.” It
didn’t matter if they were strangers or not. No one seemed strange to her even
when she seemed strange to them.
And the beautiful
lesson she teaches us today is that she really thought everyone loved her as
much as she loved them. She was convinced. Now, who has been
handicapped, her or us? I don’t need to tell you that she was a very happy
young lady. What freedom! What JOY!
IT’S OUR CHOICE
OUR IMAGINATION
OUR FAITH
How much others
love is not important. We have a choice. Which will it be? Will we choose to
BELIEVE others love us? I choose to believe they do. It sure beats the
alternative.
PERSONALLY
Today I choose to
“imagine” and Believe (faith) that there is a seed of Love in everyone I have
contact with today. I will appreciate and RECEIVE it as a Gift from God! And
I will be a stronger person for having BELIEVED.
I will have a
greater understanding of how God’s LOVE works through all of His creation. I will receive all the love offered to me today, whether real or imaginary, until I
come into the FULLNESS of FAITH, that God’s love is everywhere…and that I am
now OPEN to RECEIVE it by FAITH.
