Fresh Bread # 107
THE WHOLE EARTH
GROANS
Father:
Help me to ACCEPT the Things I cannot
change.
The Courage to change the
Things I can.
And
The Wisdom to
Know the Difference.
I saw myself as a
courageous person…willing to do battle in hard places. So, I did. I pressed
in to take hard ground.
Now I wonder if
there is such a thing as being overly courageous. Does it border on the edge
of foolishness or insanity?

Although my
physical body grows weaker and I cannot do in the physical what I once did, my
spirit grows stronger. (I Corinthians 15:43,44).
The Bible tells us
life will be like this. Read all of I Corinthians 15. Underline the verses
that bring revelation to you.
Verses 43b-44 say
our bodies are sown in corruption; but raised in incorruption; sown
in dishonor, but raised in glory; sown in weakness but raised in power;
sown a natural body, but raised a spiritual body…first the natural, then
the spiritual. (46).
And, “though
our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.”
(2 Corinthians 5:16).
THE WHOLE EARTH GROANS
(Romans 8:22)
I awoke this
morning with the word “groaning” at the forefront of my mind. In simplicity I
wondered, “What if everyone in the world is groaning as much as I am? How
could I help someone else?”
There are many
Christians who wear a HAPPY FACE, but when they are alone, are they groaning as
much as I am?
“Groaning” and
“murmuring” are not the same thing. We have been taught NOT to murmur and
complain. And we should not, but “groaning”, I believe, is a sign of the
times. (Romans 8:22). “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”
MESSAGES CHANGING
Lately when I
listen to mature messengers of God’s Word, I sense a thread of knowledge which
includes a lot of attempts to encourage the Christians. I believe we are
coming out of the church age where we have been so highly favored and in many
ways, self-centered, polishing our own armors instead of considering the need
of the whole world.
I believe we are in
a season where Christians need encouragement. Many are being pressed down
through different circumstances; clouds of darkness that cause us to “groan.”
As an individual
Christian, I pray that you understand that you are not groaning alone, but that
the whole world is groaning with you at this time.
(Romans 8:22).
WORLD VISION

Our eyes are being
opened wider now to a world vision. Israel is no longer some fictitious story
we have read about in the Bible. This is a real place with real people in real
battles for their lives, souls, and the land God has given them. Our hearts
“groan” to see them delivered.
We are seeing in
the natural now, the prophesies about Israel come to pass. As goes Israel, so goes the world. She is the Fig Tree that points to the return of our Lord.
So, like a double
edged sword, we weep with those who weep and will rejoice with our Jewish
brothers and sisters when our Lord returns. And, according to His plans, bring
PEACE to Jerusalem and to all of us.
THE GLORIOUS NEWS
ABOUT
OUR EARHTLY BODIES

We can rejoice
always because of the everlasting Good News we read in God’s Word.
Have you ever felt
like you’ve been holding your breath lately; waiting for something to happen,
but didn’t know what it was?
Romans 8:18-27 will
explain what you are waiting for. It will show you why your spirit has been
“groaning” as our earthly houses (bodies) seem to dissolve and we long to be clothed upon with our house (body) that is in Heaven. (2 Corinthians 5:1-2).
MURMURING
Murmuring shows a
lack of faith. But “groaning” is for intercession as we pray for each other.
My deepest prayers are only satisfied when I pray in the Spirit, using my
prayer language as explained in my Angel Food Book. When I love someone
so deeply and desire their release from pain, I offer my greatest prayer for
them when I pray in the Spirit.
Because, you see,
this is like the first prayer we prayed this morning, taken from the Serenity
Prayer. As we receive the wisdom to know the difference between what we can do and what God can and will do.
HOLY SPIRIT GROANS
So, if our
“groanings” are the deepest intents of our hearts, then when the Holy Spirit
“groans”, He too, is “making intercession for us with ‘groanings’ which cannot
be put into words.” (Romans 8:26-27)
He makes
intercession for us according to the (wisdom) will of God.” (Romans 8:27).
And surely that is
the highest prayer we can pray…. “Thy will be done, Father, according to Your
Perfect Plan for each of us.”
I ACCEPT
So Lord, I accept
that I cannot prevent the ageing process I see taking place in my
earthly body. I know I will receive a better one soon, and my spirit that
remains young, continues to grow daily. I will rejoice and all “groaning” shall cease as we see You Face to Face.

Because the creature itself also shall be delivered
from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of
God. (Romans 8:21) |
