THE LOVE OF A MOTHER
FOR
HER SON

Mutual obedience to God comprises a tie that binds
more closely than mere bloodlines.
♫Bind Us Together Lord
Bind us Together
With cords that cannot
Be broken.
Bind us together Lord,
Bind us Together
With
Love ♫
As I’ve learned
recently that some religions do not have a personal relationship with their
god, I appreciate more than ever that our God, desires for us to know Him
better all the time. Our dear Holy Spirit will constantly show us ways to
understand God better and grow closer to Him.
Our God is ALL
things to us…Creator, Savior, Redeemer, Friend, (you can list many other
relationships you have recognized in His Word that speak to your need to know
Him better. (Protector, Provider, Guide, Father…all things).
Those of us who
have had earthly husbands, have learned more about God as our Heavenly Husband.
A NEW AREA FOR ME

Today, I looked at
Jesus’ words in Mark 3:33-36, and I found a new way to love my Lord. In this
passage, He desires for us to love Him like a mother loves her sons and
daughters.
What Great humility
and TRUTH our Lord shares with us here. What honor He bestows on those who are
united with Him: those who do the will of God.
We accepted Jesus
as related to us in so many ways. But now, can we accept Him as a son?
TRADITIONS OF MEN

I know this goes
against the traditions of men who cannot read between the lines of God’s Word
(the Bible) and begin to imagine how Great is His Love and acceptance of His
children.
When Jesus paid it all for us and we accepted His Sacrifice for us, we were accepted into His family
with all the rights and privileges of sons and daughters, husbands and wives,
brothers and sisters, and mothers and fathers.
YOU SAID YOU
WANTED TO KNOW ME

I had never
looked at Jesus as a son. But I know the deep, abiding love I have for my own
sons and even for some young men who are brothers in the Lord, who seem like
sons and love me with the love they have for a mother. I have wondered from
time to time why I did love them so much, almost instinctively beyond my own
choosing.
JESUS MAKES IT CLEAR

Jesus makes it
clear about another form of love to be experienced in the Household of God. He
desires from us even the deep, abiding, loyal, admiring, faith, that we have in
our natural sons and daughters to be magnified toward Him, as He looks at us
and says, “Behold, My mother.” in verse
34. And in Mark 3:35, He says, “For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is My brother, and My sister, and mother.”
My Bible Commentary
says: “Mutual obedience to God comprises a tie that binds more closely than
mere earthly bloodlines.”
So, in the natural,
we did not give birth to Jesus, but by the Holy Spirit as we became a part of
His Kingdom through accepting Jesus as Lord, He honors us as brothers, sisters,
and mothers in the Lord.
We cannot deny the Words of Christ Jesus, that they are TRUTH and
life to us as we accept more ways to know Him better and LOVE Him as He wishes
us to do.
WE ARE NOT MARY

No. We are not “Mary”. She was a chosen vessel just as are we. But, we can see ourselves as “a” mother among
many who love Jesus with the Love of a mother. Mary knew this love…and now do
we.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS
We feel closer to you today than ever before.
We’ve found “another” way to love You
