Ears To Hear # 95
IT’S HARVEST
TIME
Praise
the Lord. What awesome news our Lord reveals to us when we have time to meet with Him in the morning
and listen to what He desires to share.
It’s
Harvest Time! It’s Harvest Time! It’s Harvest Time!
Isn’t
this what we have all been waiting for, sowing for? It’s Time. And it’s time
to Rejoice. As the time of Judgment has come and now the Time of Harvest! We have judged
ourselves and the Father is judging the nations.
We
may, or may not see this in the natural, but we can certainly see it in our own lives by a refreshing
knowing and faith.

A SPIRITUAL HARVEST
There
is a natural and a spiritual Harvest. First we experience it in the Spiritual…when our
Lord shows us by His Spirit and by His Word. We may receive this information through the voice
of one of His teachers. If what we hear is “truth”, our spirits receive it. Often,
we take it to God in prayer if we are not convinced. He leads us to His Word, and we find the
confirmation of Truth, there.
MY
SPIRITUAL HARVEST
REVEALED
I
received a spiritual harvest this morning…a harvest of “truth” that could only come
from our Father. His abundant Love is well able to encourage us and show us His way…even
to where we are on His path. Often, we may feel we have missed His path…no matter how hard
we have tried to stay on it. His Comfort and Assurance strengthens us to walk out His Plans for
our life.
Our
Testimony is truly God’s Testimony. We may hold back from sharing it because of a distorted
type of pride. “People will think I am boasting of myself or lifting myself up.” Well,
let’s be sure our priorities are in the right place…that our hearts are right when we
share our testimony. If so, then, God is pleased and He is the one who counts. But, we are
also pleased because we know we are in line with His will for our lives.
Another
Woman’s Testimony
As
I listened to my favorite teachers this morning on the Kenneth Copeland Program…there sat Billye
Brim and Gloria Copeland, a great 2X2 combination. So often, Jesus sent His disciples out 2X2 and
that is so good. But, other times His disciples
had to walk alone as far as having a natural person to walk with them. Were they willing to walk alone…satisfied
by their relationship with our Lord? Those who completed their race, were empowered by God to
do that.
Billye
Brim is a great example of that. It was her testimony this morning that God used to walk me back
through the steps of my life. As she told the story of how God called her and the steps she went
through, it might as well have been my story she was telling. It was all so similar, that I was
amazed by the picture, our Lord was drawing for me.
God
even placed Billye in my life physically as she preached one day at Lakewood Church when Joel Osteen’s
father was still the pastor. I think her husband had recently gone to be with the Lord, but God
still had plans for Billye. She remains single until this day but working so mightily in God’s
Kingdom…touching so many lives.
That
day, I was near the stage, my friend Regina had moved us on up very close. I can still see Billy
preaching and hearing her say: “Would you give up everything for Jesus?” I don’t
know if she said the following words, or if God impressed it on my heart. “Would you give
up your husband?” At that point, my heart broke into a million pieces, and tears gushed
uncontrollably as my stomach quivered in agony. But, from my heart, I cried, “Yes, Lord! Yes,
Lord!” It tore my flesh to say it, but God and I knew, that it came from my heart.
Similarities
between Billye’s life and mine. 1. She nearly died as a child and her parents gave
her to God. 2. Her parents prayed to have a preacher in the family but they didn’t
think it would be her because she was a girl. Neither of my brothers are preachers. Yet,
I have had a hunger to preach…anyway I can…all of my life. 3. As a child she
preached to other children…I did this, too, imitating my earthly father. 4. It was
after she married that she was baptized in the Holy Spirit. Her life was never the same after
this. 5. She now recognizes that God had a call on her life.
I
have wavered about what call, our Lord had on my life. And as Billye asked, “Have we missed
the call God has on our life?” And I began to wonder the same about myself. God knows
none of us wanted to.
I
began to weep before God. He began to comfort me. Yes, I had missed the call He had for my
life, but all was not lost.
Billye
said that when we are “walking in our call” that there is Peace and Joy. I’ve
had a taste of what that is like, but I am not walking in it full time as I so desire. So, “Have
I missed it, Lord?”
Then
He began to speak to me in songs and remind me of the goals of my life. One had always been, “Others,
Lord, yes others…let this my motto be. Help me to live for others, that I might
live like Thee.”
Revelation
came to me from those words: “Help me to live for others.” Something was out
of order here. That is exactly what my whole life had been about…so God answered that prayer.
And
once again, I heard…”Lift Jesus Higher.” He said: “And I, if I be
lifted up, I will draw all men/women unto Me.” John 12:32 “And I, if
I
be
lifted
up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me.”
“You
must come up higher.”, I felt Him say to my spirit.
“Me,
Lord? You mean for me to come up higher? What does that mean? I know it doesn’t
mean in the eyes of the world.”
“No,
of course not. I mean for you to rise above the world and come sit with Me in Heavenly Places. You
need to change a word in that song…
It
should read…help me to
live for others that I might live FOR Thee.” And he smiled.
Then
He asked me, “What one thing seems to be different about you than some others you know? I
thought, and I knew. I was never able to settle for Second Best in anything. Although in
the natural there seemed to be little proof of this to man, I knew it and God knew it. And it
was a worthy aim…because I was constantly reaching to know God on a higher level. I could
not be satisfied by 2nd best, which meant to me…worship of man and man’s acceptance
of the lesser things of God.|
This
recognition brought me comfort as to who God made me to be. It’s okay. It’s true. I
accept it and therefore accept myself in this area. As I have so longed to know others, I could
seldom understand or accept myself. This left
me lacking in knowledge and power of the “truth”, but our Lord supplies ALL our needs whether physical or spiritual. As
our souls prosper, so does our Harvest.
JOYCE MEYER
I
don’t listen to Joyce on a regular basis, but God used her to teach me a lot…whatever
was appropriate at that day of my training. He used her words to meet important needs.
But,
today I was going against something she always laughed about and said: “What about me, Lord? What
about me?” [Her robot story.]
Well,
for the first time, our Lord took me past my pride, and religious spirits, and put words on my lips
to ask something I never felt worthy of asking.
As
I tried to defend myself before the Lord, I finally said it: “Okay, Lord. What about
me? Don’t You care about me?”
Billye
had just taught the scripture where God loves us as much as He loves Jesus. When you think of
this and are able to receive it, you will weep also…in the total awesomeness of this reality.
GOD’S
COMFORT
AND
RESPONSE
He
said, “I know you have blamed yourself for not being smart enough, wise enough, loving enough,
to make others see Me as you see Me. You hurt
because you could not comfort the whole world. But, I have a question for you. ‘Did
you Plow?’ In
season and out? Hard times and Times of Abundance and Victory? Did you try to learn better
ways to plow? Were you constantly looking for a better way to work in My fields?”
Yes,
Lord.
“I
know you did,” He said. “I’ve been with you all the way. I was always aware
of the hard ground I asked you to plow. And you have been faithful.”
So
I wept again…with gratitude.
GOOD NEWS
Great
News! I heard the Lord say, “I want you to look now at all the rows you plowed and know they
are producing. Although you may not see them in the natural…take My Word for it. Life
is springing up. My Harvest has come. Not, just for you, but for all My children. If
you want to tell them something for Me, just keep telling them that it is HARVEST TIME. If they
can BELIEVE, they will see it. If they don’t believe, they will not see it, but it is happening
anyway because I have ordained it.
“REJOICE…Look
around you…and you will SEE. Wagon loads of wheat. Churches and Ministries growing
out of a proportion that has never been seen before. This is the GATHERING of the HARVEST. Harvest
beyond number. You can’t count them all as they flood in to hear My Word and experience
My Glory.
“Don’t
Judge each other. Judgment is of the Lord. I am Lord of Judgment and Lord of the Harvest.
“You,
like many others, have worked hard and I know you are tired. But your refreshing will come as
you enjoy SEEING MY HARVEST… being brought in by Me. The fields have been plowed,
seed planted and watered, now, watch Me Work as My shepherds gather the grain…in ABUNDANCE to
OVERFLOW.
“I
ask nothing of you at this time but to PraiseMe. To stand and watch and SEE what I am doing. Delight
in My Harvest. Rest in Me. Whatever I lead you to do daily…will be easy and delightful. TrustMe.”
Then
I remembered that Jesus never did anything the Father did not ask Him to do. Our Father made it
clear to Jesus. He will not leave us in the dark…He will make it clear to us as we walk
in the Light of His Love. So, for today, I’ll continue to go where He leads.
YOU HAVE SOWED

THE HARVEST IS RIPE

NOW
YE SHALL REAP
