Ears To Hear # 90

PEACEFUL DOVE 

         The pure white dove, now perched safely on her nest, high in the evergreen tree, looked down on the earth. With the olive branch still in her mouth, what did she see? What would she see now?
         God cleansed the earth and started over, but it didn’t take man long to trash it again. Today, she would see the earth divided between dark and light, wealth and poverty, dissention and peace.
         Although God sent the Rainbow as a sign of His promise to never destroy the earth again by floods, the world still hurried and scurried as though a flood were coming.
         “It’s no use.”, many were saying. “We might as well accept that it’s coming again. Let’s throw up our hands and let be what will be.”
         Others are saying, “We can save ourselves. Come on. Let’s do a lot of good works, then we can pacify the wrath of God. Let’s build our own arks like Noah did, then we will be safe.”
         Only a few could hear the “cooing of the Dove.”
         Some began to shut themselves off unto the Lord, discouraged by religion and hard work. They were on the right track…but when God began to pour out His revelations…many took them and ran with them too soon.
         As novices, filled with the fire of evangelism, they began to spew out their great revelations as though the messages belonged to them personally. But, God wasn’t finished talking to them. They ran out and preached only one part of His message. Soon this became another religion or way of man trying to appease God and work his way to Heaven. Surely they had found the secret door to eternal peace…they thought.
         God never meant for us to worship Him in bits and pieces, although that seems to be the way we learn about His Big Picture. After studying one bit, we must see how it fits into His Big Picture of Love and Ability to work His plans on earth. I believe His desire has always been that we might know Him personally, trust His Word and His Promises of Peace. That we look to Him as our Peace…our olive branch…so He can comfort His people.

AFTER THE FLOOD
The Rainbow

         The rainbow was not enough for man. Even today, people seldom take the rainbow as a True Sign of God’s promise. Oh, it’s just a pretty prism of light that follows rain; a mixture of sunshine and rain.

GOD NEVER GIVES UP ON US

         God comes to destroy evil…not people. Oh, how He longs for His children to come to Him individually so He can comfort them and speak to their hearts. Oh, how He desires to fellowship with His children.
         How discouraging to see so many miss His Place of Peace.
         As He came to the Garden…alone, and knelt on the ground and prayed beneath the old olive tree, he must have said something like this.
         “What can we do, Father? 
         And Father God probably said something like this, “I have a Plan but it will require your life.”
         “A Plan to bring Peace to my wayward children.”

SO GOD ESTABLISHED THE CROSS

         God set the Cross in place as another Real Sign of His Love and Provision for man. Many more received now, the Path of Peace…as they understood that there is no way to the Father except through His Son, Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.  “For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (I Timothy 2:5).
         So, as we receive His sacrifice for us…and believe in the reality of it, and His Promises, we find Peace.

END TIMES

         We recognize the signs of the end times. Evil is increasing again. We see brothers and sisters and children being carried away in the back wash of Satan’s demonic flood. We see those in the highways and hedges that we tried to rescue…falling back into the filth…and we wonder why.
         Could it be that we tried to rescue them by using only the life boats of religious traditions? Boats that had many holes in them? They trusted what we gave them…but it was not enough.
         “What can we do, Lord?”

IT’S TIME

         I hear our Father say, “It’s Time.” It’s time now to lay aside all inflated rafts, inner tubes, boats with holes in them. Anything you thought would keep the afloat…and show them how to enter My Rest.
         “Bring them to Me. Show them how to enter their private safe place with Me. I want them to know Me for themselves…not just what you know…but what I want to show them individually in my Word and by My Holy Spirit…the Dove of Peace.”

HOW LORD?

         “Entering My Rest for yourself, will be the greatest sermon you can preach. No loud clanging cymbals; just quietness and confidence, speaking My Words softly…like the “coo” of the Dove.
         “My doves have found their nests; their place of Rest in Me. They see the signs of the times but they Trust My gentle hands, as the dove did Noah’s.
         “They fly forth now…but they have become My symbols and messengers of Peace. As My Spirit abides in them, they go forth only as I direct. They have quiet, gentle spirits. They Trust Me. They are at Peace now because they know I’m coming soon. Then all evil will be abolished from the earth again and My children will have Peace in Me.”

LET THE WATERS SETTLE
         “So, let the waters settle, My Turtle Doves. Stay in the safety of My Love; watch and pray. Abide in My Peace.
         “And let the Peace of God rule in your hearts for this season.
         “I’m coming soon. You’ve seen My signs. Abide in peace.

         “Demonstrate My Peace by your life and faith in Me. I have good planned for all My children. Follow My signs. Bring others to peace with Me. I want them to be at Peace when I return…so they can rejoice upon My arrival.”

Watch and Pray _ Remain in My Peace
All is Well.
You can TrustMe.

    You Have My Word…You Have My Promise!
I Shall Return For You.
Abide in Peace.

“Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee.” (Isaiah 26:3).
