“OPEN BOOKS”

         “My life is an open book”, my friend Barbs said.
         Open book friends trust each other, feel accepted by each other. They are free to share their deepest thoughts without being condemned, judged, or misunderstood.
         Other times, they open their books to people they love, hoping they will read their hearts and motives and learn to understand them.

GOD’S  WORD
AN OPEN BOOK

 

         It’s not God’s purpose to shut anyone out. He wants us to know Him and how much He loves us.
         The Bible is full of love letters from God to His children and Bride. Often, He is saying, “Come Home.” Or “This is the way…walk here.”
         He is not trying to hide Himself from us. Those who come to Him with ‘open books’; hearts free and honest before God, will receive sweet communion with Him.

TWO OPEN BOOKS

         When two ‘open books’ come face to face, there is a divine connection. This is true whether between God and man, man and man, woman and woman, adult and child, or woman and man.
         This can be recognized as “Being One-in-the-Spirit.”, loving one another as God loves each of us.

WE OPEN OUR BOOKS

         We open our books because we all seek that divine connection. If we have tasted it (experienced it once), we desire it again…often not realizing why we are opening our books.

IT DOESN’T HAPPEN OFTEN

         It doesn’t happen every day that two people with ‘open books’ are allowed to spend time together. But, by the Grace of God, He does ordain these special times. And what a refreshing they are…when these people, His children, are sharing the glory of their ‘open books.’

HIS OPEN BOOK

         God’s ‘Open Book’ is available daily. My favorite time is early morning, but can be opened at any time. It can even be left open on a table, so as we walk by, we see a word of encouragement or a reminder of direction for the day.
         His Book is always open to us and how refreshing it is when we are free to keep ours open to Him.
         God knows our hearts and the intentions of our hearts. He is For Us as we maneuver the challenges of each day. He accepts us where we are. His Grace is totally sufficient to share His ‘Open Book’ of Love with each of us…at any time.
         Let’s keep our books open to Him. Trusting His Love, Acceptance, Direction, and Support for our dreams and daily needs. We can Trust Him. He truly loves us and desires the Best for our lives.
         Oh yes, we are RICH in Relationship with our Father, as we keep all our books open to Him and He keeps His Open to us.

THANK YOU LORD

         We don’t need to be ashamed when our life is an ‘Open Book’. God isn’t! And, when we sense the presence of the Holy Spirit revealing our deepest desires to God…we are satisfied that our book is open to Him. He smiles…and reveals His Love even more from His ‘Open Book.’.
         It’s a two-way Love Affair, and can become three-way or more, when His children gather as One-in-the-Spirit.
