Ears To Hear # 62

THEY ALL SHALL KNOW ME

As a young Baptist girl I met Jesus and invited Him into my heart. From that day on, I had a thirst and a quest to see many people saved. It was my desire to tell people about Jesus and persuade them to accept His invitation to go to Heaven with Him some day and miss hell.  Although my approach seemed stilted I pressed on to present His message the best way I knew how.
This morning I received a different kind of message from our Lord. I don’t expect everyone to be directed this way, but some of you may relate to it. If it isn’t for you, don’t feel obligated to receive it. But, if it is, let it be an encouragement for you.
The Holy Spirit impressed me to read Jeremiah 31:34; especially the first part.
“And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD:….”
Yes, this is a promise of a day to come, but this morning it was spoken into my spirit as a form of information and direction for some of us. Whereas, in days past, we have prayed, pushed, pulled, trying to get our loved ones to receive Jesus, I believe we are to take a new approach toward them.
I believe the day has come where they do know the Lord. He has made Himself known to them either through us or some other way. He is lifting the burden from our back. They do know Him. Not like we do, but they do know Him.
Time is short. He’s on the way to receive His Bride. From now on I choose to take the approach that all the people I know, do know the Lord. They can deny Him, but they can’t deny that they know Him. He has sent messengers, the Bible, and many other sources of information. It is His will that all be saved, but He knows they will not all receive Him.
As we sense in our spirits that Jesus will soon be here, the pressure can become too great for us as we plead with our loved ones to take their position with God. We have a burning in our hearts to share Jesus with them, but they have the choice to receive.
I believe the time is up when we are to pressure people anymore, either encouraging them or warning them. God is having mercy on us by sending such a word as, “they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying know the Lord.”
Each person is born alone and will die alone. Life and death are in the power of their own tongue as to whether they will confess Christ or not. It’s their choice to receive or reject. At some point, we all stand alone before God. No one else can save us. No one else can make this choice for us.
I believe that most of the choices have already been made. I believe our duty to is encourage one another to continue looking for our Lord’s return, trusting Him that HE will complete the work according to His Plan. I pray that we submit to His will and Trust Him although we may not understand exactly what He is doing at this time.

BLESSINGS

I believe that He is going to be pouring out more and more blessings on those who are already His children. I pray that we submit to receiving those blessings. It is not only because He loves us so much, but could well be one more move of His to let the world see how blessed His children are.

EVANGELISTS, TEACHERS, PREACHERS
MISSIONARIES

These are the “sent ones”, and I believe they are to continue to send forth God’s Word as they have already been doing. But, even they, will find a way to enter and remain in God’s Rest as they see the day approaching when He will finish His Work. As God lifts this burden from His children who have sought so often to do His will, there will be PEACE in the camps.

SUDDENLY

SUDDENLY! SUDDENLY! CHRIST WILL APPEAR. No man knows the day or hour. I just believe that His children will not be anxious at this time. There will be a new kind of “Peace” in their hearts and lives. As though their work has been completed and they are simply waiting for their Lord to come and hear Him say, “Well, done good and faithful servants. You have been faithful over little, I will make you ruler over much.”
There will be no fear on our part, because God will begin to show us the work of our hands (the fruit of our faith) and we will no longer feel ashamed, unworthy or empty handed. His Perfect Love will have cast out all fear of what He might do to us. The mutual love that a husband has for his wife and the wife for her husband, will flourish toward the return of the Groom.

THEY WILL CHASE US

No longer will we be chasing down people we love, so we can tell them of the Love of Jesus. They will find us. We will pray for those our Lord asks us to pray for. We will stay in His Word because it is our Bread. We will fellowship with the Father and when someone seeks us out desiring to know God Better, we will realize that we have left a trail of SEEDS along the path. Our joy will overflow as does the Father’s, when one of these dear ones asks how they can be saved. I believe we will be ready to share when we understand by the words of their mouth and the sincerity of their heart that they are no longer satisfied to just “know of” God, but that they want to KNOW HIM personally for themselves.

I HAVE A HABIT OF
WATCHING   PEOPLE

I have a habit of watching people when out in public. Strangers that I do not know, I often think: “God created that person. God knows him/her. I wonder if they KNOW God.”

Now, as I see people, I want to walk in the knowledge that they DO Know God. It’s just a matter of time as to whether they have already accepted Him or will come to the knowledge of Him before He returns. I pray for them…but I find comfort in the fact that I no longer need to ask anyone, “Do you know the Lord?” Because I have an assurance in my spirit that our Faithful Heavenly Father has made Himself known to all His children. I will no longer judge or agonize over their salvation or what I can do to drag them into God’s Kingdom. His door is wide open for them. They may enter at any time they choose…hopefully before His return.
The end of this verse says: “I will forgive their iniquity and I will remember their sin no more.” All they have to do is ask. God even knows who will ask and who will not. I pray that I may be at the door when someone decides to ask. I believe it is the season of the final harvest so let’s Trust God and be ready when they come knocking. Let’s welcome them with the loving arms of Jesus. Let’s rejoice. The King is Coming SOON.

THEY ALL SHALL KNOW ME!
