Ears To Hear # 61

PEACE AND PLEASURE

Great Peace have those whose mind is stayed on Thee. “Thou will keep him in Perfect Peace whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he Trusts in Thee.” (Isaiah 26:3).

Good Morning Dear Ones, I’m back from my visit to Tennessee and North Carolina. It was beautiful, but there is still “No place like home.” “Home is where the heart is”, and surely our natural homes are preparation for our eternal home with Jesus.

IN AGREEMENT

This morning in prayer, I was refreshed by remembering “How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” (Psalms 133:1).
And, “Can two walk together except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3).
True. They may walk together when not in agreement, but not for long. And certainly not in Peace. But, Oh, the JOY when they find the place of Agreement.

PEACE IN DIRECTION

As my friend Sandy reminded me that we must “Redeem the Time”, I realize this may have a different earthly meaning to each of us. The way I choose to do this, is to find PEACE in DIRECTION.
Each day of our life is new. We rejoice and are glad in it. We can freely be in the habit of asking, “What are our plans for today, Lord? Where are we in agreement? Where do I find Peace in my spirit, as to where You are leading me today?
“I find Great and Perfect Peace when I hear Your Directions for today. We are in agreement.”

PLEASURE IN PROGRESS

As I am writing this, I hear my neighbors working on their house; building a new set of stairs. The sound of hammers and family working together, often laughing, blesses me.
Hopefully, I will make progress today as I mow the grass around my house. Or, as I send forth His Word through writing.
When we see the results of following His Peaceful Directions, we find Great Pleasure in Progress.

Wherever He Leads Today
Let’s Go in Peace
And
Enjoy Pleasure!

“Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.” (Isaiah 42:9).
