Ears To Hear # 59

THERE IS A SEASON

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die;” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2a).

         This morning as I received prayer requests for so many who have loved ones in the hospitals, our Lord gave me an interesting awareness of what life on earth would be like if people never had to go to hospitals.
         I thought about the old pioneers on the prairies who knew there was a time to be born and a time to die. They prepared for this by living their life to the fullest each day…and by studying the Good Book. In studying God’s Word, they accepted Life as His Seasons and Purposes. They learned a lot about Heaven and made plans to go there when their time was up. They taught their children to be prepared for that Better Place.
         Some fought off death…but others had peace about it, when it came. Those who knew the Lord in a personal way were prepared by Him to release their will for His. 
         Others who were “caught off guard” for example, an apparent accident, were already prepared to go meet their Lord at any given moment.

GOING EVEN FURTHER BACK

IN TIME

         As God never does anything without revealing it to His prophets first, Moses and so many of God’s people knew when their time had come to go and be with the Lord. 
         We are living in a day where each of us can be so close to God, that we, too, will have a Peaceful Knowing. It is not a lack of faith on our part when someone goes on Home, but often it has to do with God’s Timing.
         He always has a plan and a purpose. And I truly believe as revealed to me today (which seems very different from the way I use to think), that we can lose our peace by resisting the Lord’s call on our life or someone else’s when HE makes us aware…that it is time to “Let Go.”
         The only way we can truly know this, is by a close relationship with Him. We learn to lean on Him and hear His Heart Beat. We don’t know all his reasons, we simply TRUST that what He is doing in our lives is for every one’s good if we have truly come to the place where we can say: Thy Will over Mine Lord.”
         No. I still cannot believe that it is God’s will for people to die before their time. God gives life and is for Life. But there is so much more to Life on the other side…than what our eyes can see here in the natural. The Holy Spirit will always give us an answer as to when “To Hold On” or to “Let Go.” When we hear His words speak to our spirit…then we can Enter His Rest and keep walking in Peace.

PEACE

OUR GREAT WEAPON

         As Hal Lindsey mentioned in his book: Faith for Earth’s Final Hour, “The world as we know it, is rapidly coming to an end. Let’s make the short time we have left count for all eternity.”
         I do believe the Season we are in is the Season of Birth Pangs that is predicted in the Bible as the time right before our Lord’s return for His Bride. 
         Another quote from Hal’s book: “Moses gave up what he could not keep to gain what he could not lose. This is a very essential part of true Faith (in God). Faith (in God) makes the thing promised for the future so REAL that the present can be sacrificed, if need be, for the Better Way.”
         God gave us our physical bodies for a season. But this is not the end of His plans for us. Our lives go on eternally. And when He decides that He prefers us in Heaven with Him at an appointed time, then we can Freely Go.
         We don’t have to ask “Why?” or “What those plans are.”, because we have learned that He loves us and has only Good Planned for His children. More and more and more good. Heaven is just the next step into His eternal Goodness for us.
         Oh, if we could only SEE the goodness He has prepared for us in Heaven, it would not be hard at all to say, “Come Lord Jesus, take me.” Or, “Yes, Lord, if YOU are ready for my loved one, I know now that it is a far greater place of comfort and joy for them with You than here with me. Yes, Lord, Your Will be done above mine. You know Best.”
         “The world as we know it, is rapidly coming to an end. Let’s make the short time we have left count for all eternity.” Yes, time is short. Many are moving on ahead of us…but while we are still here…let us Enter His Rest Daily…totally Trusting Him each day of our lives…and preparing our children and loved ones for their awesome journey Home…whether it be early (in our lives) or late. 
         Let’s TRUST God…to open every door of opportunity for us to be certain that our loved ones have received Jesus as their Lord. Then they can have Peace and so can we. They will just be going ahead of us to a Far Greater Place…and I truly believe, it will not be long before we join them. What JOY! What RAPTURE! What DELIGHT! 

I EXHORT YOU

         I just cannot say it enough. Please practice, entering the Father’s Rest and Remaining there. These are hard times in the natural for all of us. Only those who remain in His Rest as they see God’s Hand moving over the earth, and fulfilling His Word…will walk in Peace each day that remains. He still has some unfinished business and is using his workers (you and me) to carry it out. He does not want us struggling with the burden of Unbelief.  He wants us to serve FREELY…through our Total faith in HIM. Please Remain in His Rest as you go about your life each day until He comes. This is surely His Will and Way for you and me.
