A PICTURE
OF
HIS BRIDE

         Did it ever occur to you that we have never seen a picture of the Bride of Christ? She’s the one He so yearns to be united with in Heaven
         In the Old Testament days, people saw Jesus in the flesh. He was 33 years old when He went to Heaven to be seated by His Father and begin the long wait for His Bride.
         Many beautiful pictures of Christ, the Bridegroom, continue to be published as man desires to see the Face of God; to look Jesus in the Face… with eye to eye contact.
         Mary was the mother of Jesus and He so honored her, but she was not the Bride He is yearning for. So there are many pictures of what people think Mary looked like, but none that I know of, that artists think His Bride must look like.
         Yes, God is a Spirit and we worship Him in Spirit and Truth. (John 4:24). So we understand the spiritual concept of the Bridegroom and the Bride. But she remains more a shadow for us than He does.
         But, He’s coming. He’s coming soon to get His Bride.
         I too, have wondered why the Holy Spirit gives me some unusual things to share. As I feel His presence near while I take “dictation”…our conversation often goes like this:
         “Holy Spirit, You are the author of these Angel Food writings. You always have been and You know I have no other desire than to write exactly what You want written on each given day.”
         I often stop and ask questions like, “Where are we going with this, Lord? Is this what You want me to serve? Where did that idea come from? I wasn’t expecting that. Forgive me, but these words sound harsh at times.”
         Each time, He answers in my spirit, “Just Write” or “Keep Going”. And He smiles.

I WONDERED “WHY”

         I wondered why He would have me write things like I did yesterday, about making fun of each other. It must seem like such a small seed in the eyes of the world…like particles of dirt under the Bride’s skin; rising to the surface so they may be cleansed.
         God is preparing the Bride for His Son, Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is revealing things to her that she has not seen until now.
         What’s going on? As we read Ephesians 5:26-27, we understand that we are being sanctified and cleansed by the washing of the water of His Word. That He is preparing to present us to Himself, without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that she/we will be holy and without blemish.
         Oh, Praise the Lord! How our hearts cry for this. The King is Coming and only the Father can prepare us the way we want to be for our Groom.

SURPRISE

Please don’t think of me as sacrilegious. I know what God’s Word says about the Bride of Christ. But, if you truly want to relate to Him more than ever before, I’m asking you to do something by Faith.
Take out your earthly wedding picture. NOW…

It may look something like this.

         If you have never seen a human picture of the Bride of Christ, do not be surprised when He comes to get her…when she looks JUST LIKE YOU. Forget the false humility and accept your own beautiful face.
         I have given you the frame…but you must put your own self in the picture. Try to do that. Place it on your mantle and always remember who she is.
         Perfected, glorious, radiant, just the way you always wanted to be. The perfect Bride for the Perfect Groom.
         HE perfects those things that concern you.
         Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ: (Phil. 1:6).

NOW

Now, you know what His Bride looks like today in the natural. She looks just like you.
Please ponder this a little for yourself. Think about His Robe of Righteousness and surely His Queen will wear a crown…as they reign and rule together. God’s Word is full of the beauty God has prepared for those who love Him.

MEN

To the men who read this, I’ve always wondered how you could relate to being a Bride. I would really like to hear what you say. At this point, all I can see, is that you can relate to Jesus more than we women do. I see a smile on your face…like that of Christ as He sees His bride coming up the aisle. You know more what it means to Him than women can understand. It must be awesome.
So, stand strong with your Lord, rejoice and welcome His Bride. The wedding march has already begun. She’s coming…He’s coming. So they will be together forever.

Their invitations are out. Arrangements are made. All are freely invited. On that day, the Spirit and the flesh will become One. One in the Spirit. And as Revelation 22:17 says:

“And the Spirit and the Bride say…….COME.” What a union…and from now on, I hope you women can see your face as the natural face of His Bride. He loves us so much. All of us.

                  DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU REPRESENT THE
                            BRIDE OF CHRIST?
                                     NOW WE HAVE A PICTURE OF HIS BRIDE.
