WARNING FOR
SENSITIVE EARS
“Be Careful What You Hear”

           Now that you have “Ears to Hear” you’ll recognize your sensitivity to hear many things.
         As I see Satan flooding the market place with information, I realize that once again, he is attempting to imitate and upstage God. As God is pouring out His Spirit in abundance to those who have “ears to hear”, Satan is also flooding the earth, but with false information and false doctrines.
         Be Careful what you hear.
         “Guard your heat (and ears) with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:23).

TRASH OR TREASURE
TELEVISION

              

         The Law in God’s Word is our teacher, but the Holy Spirit is our Guide as He says, “This is the way…walk here…walk in it.” Proverbs 4:25-27 says: “Ponder (think about) the path of your feet. Let your eyes look straight ahead and do not turn to the right or to the left.” [My paraphrase.]
         Through the Law, we already know better than to watch pornographic material on the television or to allow our children to do so. We’ve learned not to trust the media so we have become skeptical of what they say…and often will even try to search out the truth for ourselves.
         But there is a more subtle and devious area of television that is important to us.
         Praise God, that He is sending His Message of Life and Truth all over the world. If you watch Christian television, I want to set your heart at ease about some things.
         Hear from God first for yourself, then you will know if you are in agreement with what is being preached.
         There are new faces popping up every day over Christian Television. Some are of God and some are not. Just as there are some forms of “cheap religion”, there are some forms of “cheap evangelism”. In other words, not the real thing.
         Don’t be too quick to judge. Hebrews 4:12b reminds us that the Word of God is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Does what this preacher say line up with what you know God’s Word says about God, His desires, His plans? If it doesn’t, there will be an agitation in your spirit.
         This could be because he/she is preaching something you have not searched out for yourself in God’s Word. Or, it could be blatantly opposed to what you have learned from God’s Word.

THE SPIRIT KNOWS
Are you pleasantly drawn to Listen?

         If you feel pleasantly drawn to a particular pastor, teacher, or evangelist for a season, it is because God is teaching you something you need to know for these end times. You already know not to worship that man or woman, but ask God to allow you to hear His voice coming through His dedicated servants. Does your spirit recognize their pure hearts and desires to elevate Jesus/God above themselves? This is an important guide line.
         As we may each be learning a lesson that appears a little different from what another Christian is learning at this time, God may direct our desires to different television teachers/preachers. That’s good, because God is filling in the gaps of our individual training. He is dressing His Bride for His Return.

DO NOT LISTEN TO EVERY VOICE

         Do not believe everything you hear. Do not waste your time listening to every one else’s thoughts if the Lord has not placed a strong desire in you to listen to them.
         Hear God for yourself.
         There will come a time when you will even skip your favorite television evangelist because the Truth from God to you personally has become so much more satisfying. When you are drawn so strongly to His Word and your time with Him, God will provide the slots of time for you to hear what He has said to other believers.
         It’s hard for some to imagine the JOY experienced when you hear words from a man or woman of God, saying the very same thing God spoke into your spirit during your private time with Him
         At this point…you know you are On the Same Page…with the temporary earth teacher God has placed in your path.
         While receiving these confirmations, other relevant knowledge can be added to what you have already learned. As the Body of Christ, we are meant to share what God shares with us. But what we share must be shared from pure, humble, hearts.

HOW DO WE KNOW WE ARE
SHARING THE TRUTH?

         Jesus is the TRUTH, the Light, and the Way. He says, “This is the way…walk here.”
         There is a holy reverent fear of God in His children. When they are sincere, they dare not speak from their own thoughts, but only what God tells them to say, just as Jesus only said what the Father told Him to say.
         Our precious Holy Spirit will put a check on our words when they seem to be out of order or off-course. It is great wisdom on our part to follow this check in our spirits. This too, is a learning process that we don’t always obey the first time we sense it. But, we are still in training.

FILTER WHAT YOU HEAR

         An over abundance of knowledge is being poured out. Ask God to show you how to discern between the Trash and His Treasures…nuggets of truth. Keep it Simple…God is Love.
