GOD IS CONSTANTLY
LEAVING MESSAGES FOR US

[This is an Hors d’oeuvre = starter, first course, taster, sample, sneak preview of a larger meal that will follow. You may not have time for the Big Meal…so I hope you enjoy this one and it will whet your appetite for Something More…as I prepare it and take it from the oven of His Presence today.]

HIS RECORDED WORD

         Sometimes I leave a voice message on my phone and choose not to erase it. I enjoy hearing the voice of a loved one. It comforts me and reminds me that I am not alone. This morning I reached over and pressed the message button on my telephone that says “Play.” As it began, I heard a familiar voice.
         “This is your oldest son calling to say, ‘I love you; to see how you are doing.’ Give me a call when you have a chance. My number is --- ----. Love you Mom. Thinking about you. Bye bye.”
         As God spoke comfort to me through my son, I could easily change the words to hear God’s message:
         “This is your Father calling to say, ‘I love you’. To see how you are doing. Give Me a call when you have a chance. My number is Jeremiah 33:3. Love you daughter/son. Thinking about you. I’m glad we never have to say good bye.”
         I decided to call him back. So I dialed Jeremiah 33:3, as many have called this scripture God’s Phone Number.

         “Call unto Me and I will answer thee,
          and show thee great and mighty things,
          which thou knowest not.”

         Then the Holy Spirit began to show me some great and mighty things which I would not have known had I not returned His call. It is in the longer message today. Surely He is also showing you great and mighty things today…as you return His Call.
         I encourage us all to SAVE HIS MESSAGES as they are each RECORDED, not only in His Word, but in our hearts.
