Ears To Hear # 17
“CRAZY?”
You’d
Better Believe I Am!
How
about You?
So
what’s so bad about being crazy? What does “crazy” mean anyway? As a matter
of pride, we had rather people not think of us as crazy.
When
I looked up the word “crazy” in the dictionary I could have written a sermon on all I found. “Words” can
be connected to God or to the world. They can be used for good or for evil.
No,
the world may call us “crazy”, meaning that we don’t fit in with their example of
sanity. But when we say, “Yes, we are crazy about God.”, it means ‘no holds
barred’. We no longer care that the world calls us “crazy” in comparison to
the Truths God is revealing.
We
are “crazy in love” with Jesus. We believe God above all others. We follow His
TRUTH…even when the world calls us crazy.
This
is definitely a step over Pride in our lives…a step over the fear of man…and what
man can do to us.
“So
that we can boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall to do me.” (Hebrews
13:6). This does not mean that we act in a frivolous, silly way. It’s just a statement,
mainly to ourselves, as we overcome our fear of this word. God is moving so fast right now,
that many Christians may be wondering about their own sanity. Hopefully, this will help us all
settle the matter. He’s imparting His truth to us in a much higher way than most
of us have ever experienced before. He’s preparing us to know Him when He returns.
The
world may label you as “crazy” as you are beginning to hear from God more clearly every
day: when what He shows you is witnessed by His Word and your own spirit. It appears that
God is clarifying more things to us than ever before. We are seeing the scriptures in a different
light. And those who are resisting His call to personal fellowship will not hear what we are hearing. It’s
easier for them to call us crazy than to seek Him for themselves.
But,
my prayer is that each of us will be True to the Voice of our Lord, and if necessary be willing to
be called “crazy” without taking offense.
Yes,
the world may call you “crazy”. Your family, some so-called friends, the devil definitely
tries…but don’t listen to him…and don’t speak that word over yourself…except
to speak the truth. When we are no longer afraid to say what God says, we can answer for ourselves: “You
bet I’m crazy. I’m crazy in Love with Jesus.”
Oh,
that we would turn every word we hear into the context that Glorifies God.

You’re
Not Losing It!
Just
Gaining More Knowledge
Than
You’ve
Ever Received Before.
Rejoice!
